I think, that Sawyer and Kate have big passion, and maybe they will end up together in next season of Lost, but everyone has different taste, you should know it, some people love Sawyer and Kate, some Sawyer and Juliet in s5, some Jack and Kate and some Jack and Juliet, that´s why writers made it and ofcourse because of drama, however.
