I just did this to a shirt that I didn't really like (it's a boring blue T shirt that I use to wear to work but couldn't when a bleach spot appeared on it). I decided to cut the front and back at the same time, which I think was a mistake because the sleeve was falling off. Thankfully you gave the last tip, which I used except I don't have a ribbon right now. So I used the scrap fabric. In the end I love how the sleeve falls

I tried this out today and my shirt looks so much better now. It was a guys t-shirt that i bought one day because i liked the design but the collar neck was to high and the sleeves were to long. Few snips here and there and now it looks awesome, thanks.

Ok I have the scissors ! $1..I put a ribbon on the scissors I use just to cloth. Hands off those scissors :) You know how people will get your scissors & cut anything with em!

So I have several pair but the one with the ribbon "Do not touch" :)
