He is just the most lovable idiot you could have, he's the best friend you could have, and if you can live the snoring he's perfect apart from that! just hope they all end up in the right hands, they need the right attention, love, and to be integrated in the family. Wonderful dogs.

Beautiful dogs I own a 1 year old. They are the best breed when with the right owner. I also pray they stay out of irresponsible hands. We rescued ours!

The first time I saw this dog, my world changed. It's such a beautiful creature. Wonderful breed, only I am not so familiar with its personality. I have two English Bulldogs and I love them. But this one is something that makes me dream to have one. I wonder how much would a Dogue de Bordeaux puppy cost nowadays?

@soundsmiths with papers they go for a couple grand n should never be below 1000...even if they dont come with papers...alot of good breeders i talk to say that cuz i been goin thru a lot of rebutable breeders becuz im interestedin getting one..they say that becuz they usually dont have good lines or health in there genes...so de recommend to never buy a cheap french mastiff

I love French Mastiffs, we have 4 of our own and all 4 are spoiled. Samson, Bridgette, Maggy and Shyanne. Of course they have there own kennel, No way these dogs can be in the house together.

wow!!! Wat een prachtige hond!!! Al jaren zijn wij fan van de bordeauxdog, wij hebben nu een amerikaanse bulldog, ook een scheet hoor, van bijna 7 jaar. Wij zijn ernstig in twijfel of wij nu een bordeauxdog pup er bij nemen of wachten tot onze amerikaanse bull genaamd Sting gaat hemelen..... Nu ik dit filmpje heb gezien schiet ik vol, werkelijk een fantastisch hond!! zoveel liefde, goedzucht, loyaliteit en power! veel geluk en plezier met je mooie honden!!

What a fantastic dog. I love the Bordeau breed. They have the physical strength to rip you apart, but they wouldn't because they have such gentle temperaments

They definitely are a wonderful breed. The gentle temperment, however, as with most breeds are due to responsible breeding and responsible owners. They are a dominant dog similar to a Rottweiler (brought up in a responsible home of course) and are not for the first time dog owner. Rottweilers used to have a great reputation until they became more common and affordable to irresponsible owners. I pray these dogs stay rare and out of the hands of idiots. They are so beautiful!

That is very true, Jennizimm. The Rottweiler (wonderful breed) and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (very much maligned and misunderstood) have in recent years become "badges of honour" for thugs and morons. I adore both breeds and hate to see this happen. One breed that I am genuinely wary of and would never consider owning is the Japanese Akita. They scare me!

oh sorry about your loss , i had a pit bull named baby doll all white with a black patch on her eye , she thought she was my wife , she never liked me to be away from her she was like my right arm, and she hated my girlfriend, she was everything to me , and my ex let her run away oh i miss that dog , I hope she is safe.
