A worthy attempt! Distorted guitars are out of tune and the dynamics are out of sync when harmonizing. The acoustic guitars need tuning more than anything; especially due to the lack of distortion. I wish that I could look at your mix because it is muddy. I think you may have compressed it too much in Ozone(I'm guessing you used a multi-band compressor). Try to locate a specific place for everything in the frequency spectrum. 10hz/1000hz/10000hz (low/mid/hi) PM me with any questions.

Another great high quality sound and very close to the original. Did you record this song by ear? How long did it take you to finish the whole song in Pro Tools 8? I'm pretty sure the sound quality is much better with MP3 version..
actually I encoded this video with 512kbps audio, so it's triple the quality of a standard mp3
this took me over a month because I only had limited time to work on it, took four hours to record the acoustic guitar though, once we got a setup we liked it wasn't hard.
I used a tab primarily, I tried not to refer to the original song as much as possible to get my own little twist to it.
yo the only problem with this is the acoustics are out of tune. other than that great job man
