@mgm96 Yes, they very much do. Green stuff is very similar to procreate. I do think the procreate is a bit better. It takes shaping and sculpting better.
@sevenar7R Right, you can do the drawing just so you can get the general shape and pose of the miniature. Add in any details that are really important to you like weapons.
This is a great tip. Thanks! Sculpey is a great material for making miniatures. Inexpensive and takes tooling very well. It is a good place to start when learning how to sculpt because it doesn't dry out so you can continue working with it.
Soldering gun and solder recommendation?
TheBlueFalconX 4 months ago
@TheBlueFalconX doesn't matter. Any soldering pencil and solder is ok. As long as it works. ten dollars at radio shack should do it.

Mine was about 2 1/2 inches should I redo it? I am making a Lizard Man.
Xythe43 1 year ago
@Xythe43 no, it's quite alright. You go ahead and finish it off. It's good practice. you can always make a smaller one afterwards.

Xythe43 1 year ago
@Xythe43 Yes, typically the monster should be bigger.

Do you cook the clay after? It's clay. It'll get easily disfigured. How do you cook them? How many degrees?

is super sculpey firm the same as super sculpy polymer clay
bubblesofhell 2 years ago
@bubblesofhell No they are separate products. Firm holds details a little better, especially if you accidentally touch or drop your figure.
