  • Very nice equipment!

  • i would sit under those anyday

  • yeah i would

  • idk it sound the same lol

  • AA i swear they are the animal Oster clippers! lmao

  • @smackmans Thanks for taking the time to comment

Nope, they are European voltage Oster 76 single speed. Supplied with the standard blades for barber cutting NOT animal sizes!

You should sit under them, see how they do on your hair ;-)

  • i stand corrected lol.

so in comparison with them and the classic 76 oster (brown 1) how do they compare as uk/european products are usually quite shabby compared to the usa 1s.

  • @smackmans I believe they were a special edition. They sound exactly the same as the US Oster 76's, as they are designed for UK/European 220/240v.

When I made this vid a few years ago, I'd only just bought them. They've bedded in now, and are very capable of shearing a thick head of hair in seconds :)

They get very hot though, because it has the high powered motor inside them.

The only pain was, I had to order blades from the US, which cos a little more, but somehow, worth it :)

  • @smackmans are products over there really made shittier than here in the US?!

  • @stillfeelme1

I agree with smackman to a degree about the quality of European Products compared to the US market. In general terms, the US market won't put up with rubbish quality.

That said, I don't think Oster compromised on these clippers, as they sound and feel every bit as good as their US counterparts - Indeed they are manufactured in the USA :)

The only different is the voltage. US is 110v, and the UK / Europe is 220 / 240v - That's what makes them sound a bit different.

  • I am looking for a vid on where to put the oil to lubricate my clippers. Let me know if you know. Thanks.

  • You can oil the blades at either end with clipper oil and let them run for a few minutes - But you also need to oil the motor with the motor oil from time to time. The instruction booklet details where the oiling points are.

  • Thanks for answering. I lost the instructions and the little tubes that come with the clippers when our house flooded (they are dog clippers) but I just wanted to know if I should be oiling the motor. Maybe I can find the instructions online somewhere. Or ask a groomer. I just do the dogs to keep them clean and healthy.

  • love the sound of the "osters";i think that is how i got into loving going to the "old fashion barbershop";as young as 12/13yrs old.Have a great "hair year"(2009)!!

  • great looking clippers love to have them cut my hair

  • Yes please ?

  • i would like to sit under them what did they cost

    ?

  • You can pick some up on eBay for around £50 - £70. Worth the money for the serious haircut fan. I also have blades 00000, 0000, 000, 0A, 1 & 1.5 :)

  • wow love the 00000
