If there is any significant difference between Simon Gauzy and Kim Min Seok, it is the size of the players, namely between a Westerner and an Easterner.♦
Kim seemed really frustrated with his game here. Getting a bit impatient towards the end so he lost lots of points through unforced errors. thx for uploading
Thanks for the video... Such a pity Gauzy is so vocal, sorry but it really gives the impression he's arrogant (especially when added to the way he celebrates at the end of the match)... A bit like Mattenet...
@taoufik82 It's normal to celebrate like that, who wouldn't if you win against number 25 or something in the world (and you're ranked around 200). I think it's not an arrogant celibration.
@Syforce92 I really think the kid had a horrible day. no way you could be competing at a world class event like this and not be able to put away high balls consistently.
On another note, Korean guy was really passive. was playing like he was half asleep.

I like Gauzy but he got lucky on this match at the expense of Kim's uncharacteristic misses.

Kim seems in very poor condition. Missed so many high balls. Timing way off, too.

too bad this kind of style won't get u to the top 10. Lobbing simply just doesn't work at the highest level.
