Dazzle DVC 100 - Record your Xbox 360 in 60Hz - UK Tutorial

I need help: when I DO record something, I hear it perfectly, but the video goes like 3x fast and the sound gets cut off in the middle cause the video ends too soon, any ideas?

I followed the instructions, but when I put it on seacam b in 50hz it will go black and white, and when I put it in 60hz on anything it wont capture it at all, any ideas?

if you want to record Xbox 360 gameplay in HD you should take a look at the AVerMedia Game Capture HD. A capture device that will record and playback directly on the TV without using a PC. It uses component pass through so there will be no lag while recording.

When I open up pinnacle studio 11 I cannot get any picture or sound i also get an error message saying A valid input signal has not been detected. Please check your cables. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in UK aswell.

It is probably because you have your Xbox set to 60Hz and whereas your PS3 is probably set to 50Hz.

when you show the capture device it say your useing the dazzle dvc100, when i go to change mine to the dazzle dvc100 it doesnt allow me it hasnt got in the the drop bar can you tell me why this is and how you get it

i installed my dazzle and it came up that firstt hing has be found then the dv100 hasnt been found and then under tht, that the dv100 has be found, and i believe due to this i can't seem to get an image what so ever so does anyone know what happened

please help, i am currently using the Colour cables that come with the Elite console, i have the colours green, red and blue in the back of the tv and the yellow white and red in the dazzle DVC100. i have the settings to TV not HDTV and it keeps saying "no valid input detected, check your signal cables, i have the setting to S-Video if that is correct? please help me !!!!

S-Video is different to composite. Composite is the Red, White and Yellow cables. Component is the Red, Green and Blue cables. S-Video is a separate cable which is the equivalent of Composite (Quality wise). You must switch your setting to composite otherwise you cannot record.

HI i have my cord from my xbox in my dazzle and the usb pluged into the computer but when ever i try and record the screen is black. and in setting for capture scorce there is notthing for DVC 100

Mate you have to buy a double ended av cable, and do it that way for it to show on your screen. :D Hope I Helped.

By one that supports PAL 60, because if your recording device goes black, it means that it only supports PAL 50

When i try to record on my friends xbox, the video is black and white, but it has this wierd fuzzy line through the middle of the preview screen, with the xbox footage behind it and it it freezes on a still image, can the same method solve this problem?

If you're using an xbox 360, then this method works fine. I had "no input signal detected, please check your cables" message for ages but this method does work. also try setting the 360 to play in 50hz, then you can record in colour without the amcap but only some games run in 50hz.

Why everyone on Youtube connect the console to the tv and then the tv to the pc to record? Why not connect the console directly to the pc and record it in this way? Did you do connect the console to the tv?

i just bought my dazzle and i installed it to my computer its called pinnacle instant dvd recorder and i tried to record but it says its been recorded on to the CD and i dont want it to record to the CD just want it to be stored to my files please respond!!
