  • Great talent and Great confidence. You take the stage and you OWN the stage. Awesome.

  • ....what exactly IS hoofing? And how is everyone acting so casual, this is awesome!

  • I wouldnt even consider this hoofing yet most of the real hoofers dont even get 55,000 views like this amateur .... not being mean, I respect all dancing but the "H" word is thrown around too much, savion says so himself....

  • Nice solo work in an apparent practice session on the stage, and then the singer with Aint that a kick in the head. Thanks! Fun!

  • Nice groove, in the pocket

  • hey this is amazing, what is the step called that you to at 2.12 min??

  • I think you are very talented. Continue on. Great job.

  • Very nice technique my man, taking us back to a little Fred Astaire with a new feel to it. Stage presence is a little lacking, but anyone who knows what tap dancing or hoofin is knows that it takes hard work to be clean. Keep reaching bruh

  • if u can do what he can do then u have the right to hate BUT if u can't then fall back! very talented right here...the ones who always hating are those who can't do sheeit!

  • i think HE GOES HARD!!!! Singing and All!

  • I hate Christina Aguilera's style of singing. It takes a classical style and perverts it. The same can be said for hoofing. However, this is classical hoofing, unperverted and stylish. Love it. If overone, it is just mechanical and forced.

  • this cheered me up!! sounds really clean too =) just got my taps back out for the first time in four years, i am so rusty and but inspired ~ thank you =)

  • 1:19 - 1:25 sounds like an Irish dance step!

  • hi i just wanted to say that your a great taper, at one point i didnt want to tap after a few months but i dont know why but after seeing this video it made me want to do it again and i think its great so i just wanted to say thanks.

  • Pretty good tapping, but the singing is not hittin' it (see 2:29). I see where you trying to go with this. Looks like in the direction of Sammy Davis, Jr. with singing and tapping inbetween. Need some voice lessons and your own tap style. Keep doin it. You'll get there eventually!

  • you good, man

  • whats the music at the beginning?

  • @elefantechapin

The band is called The Brand New Heavies

The song is "Have A Good Time" from the album: Brother Sister

One of the greatest funk bands ever.

  • @ialexcampbell cheers mate

  • WOW! you have incredible engergy in your taps! I'm so impressed ;)

  • Hey, who's that man?

  • I'm astonished.

  • what's the difference between tap and hoofing tap?

  • @bunbacheso as far as I have gathered in experience. Tap is what refers to what you would typically see in musical theatre numbers (tap steps linked together with movements from jazz or ballet, innovated largely by gene kelly), hoofing focuses a lot more on the feet, utilizing the sounds for a much more hard percussive effect (something like Fred Astaire or Gregory Hines would do)

  • @Thommy2n thanks :)

  • yo! this guy is REALLY GOOD! great job! perfectly on time! i think.....how do you do hoofing??? do you just kinda...tap away? randomly? i don't know! this stuff is new to me!

  • aaahhh excellent!! i LOVE it! EVERY sound is heard, crisp, clear, and even!! I was so excited to see you do the combo at 2:14 because I've done that for years!.. but the break you put at the end was incredible!! GREAT JOB! i would love to tap with you some day!

  • so im pretty sure that i'm in love with this video. i had to quit dancing after 9 years because my hips are greatly screwed. and this just made my whole day.

  • your good but watch more gregory hines for STYLE!!!!!!

  • Hmm... Didn't even know that hoofing was a real word. I've heard that word once in a daffy duck cartoon. I assumed it was made up!

  • i didn't know tapping = hoofing. to me they are different... although hoofing is derived from tap, hoofing is different.

and he does have good technical skillz... not sure about the feeling, though

  • I have been tapping for 7 years no and I have never seen a white guy jamm like this . ( NO Offense)

You are awsome and have major talent !!!

  • Wow that was amazing!! I love tap, I'm hoping to be a tap dancer x

  • COOOOOOOOOOOL!

Man, i may start classes for tap dancing :)

  • I wish I lived in Canada. I would love to tap with you. I love the rhythms, and your style. I taped for 6 years.

  • Well done! You definately have talent!

  • Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!

  • FANTASTIC!!!!

  • Sorry that went on twice...my computer wasn't processing quickly, so I retried. Ignore or get positive feedback twice...your choice! Best of luck!

  • Bunch of biddies...I thought this video was great, especially if you are trying to market yourself as a versatile dancer and singer. Amazingly clear taps!

  • Bunch of biddies...I think your video was really nice. Your tap goes without saying (amazing), but if you are trying to market yourself as a versatile dancer and a singer, I think you hit the mark. Do you have a website?

  • thats awesome man, hey have you gone to the southeastern tap explosion ?

  • I can appreciate all of the hard work it has taken you to get to the point that you are at.

    Keep up the great work,

    Lonnie McFadden

  • The tapping is good, it's the pirouettes that ruin the rest of the video. they have nothing to do with the tappping, and i know girls at my dance studio who can do more than that without tap shoes on, so that is nothing special.

  • Your so good! I wish I could dance!

  • hey man u good just don't be taggin yourself with savion glover that's disrespect.

  • He might have gotten some of the steps in the video from Savion. :) Hoofers steal each others steps and rhythms all the time.

  • nice :)

  • Getting a good sound outta those shoes

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!

  • WOW you are absolutly AMAZING!!!I cant even begin. i have utmost respect for tap dancers!

  • wow!! brilliant!!! love it.

  • Fantastic man! I loved it!

  • what kind of shoes do you use?

  • uhh tap shoes. thats obivous

  • He's prob using K360's. There's a lot of different kinds of tap shoes. If you were a dancer you'd know that, so don't comment on something you don't know about.

  • i am a dancer. this is my 11th year tap dancing. jeeze. they are tap shoes. get over it.

  • your ok., but next time wear jeans that fit. and i mean fit normally not the "im comming out" fit.

  • Shut yo mouth girlfriend!! I designed those bad boys myself and put my blood, sweat and tears into them! BITCHSLAP!

  • This is some super hot tap!!! LUV its originality, but its still got that classic style that made people like astaire and kelly! Awesome stuff!!

  • Who is the person singing at the end? Is it this guy?

  • Some of those steps were in my solo. You did amazing.

  • Heh. My choreographer used a couple of those steps too. lol.

  • This Guy Is Very Talented. He reminds me of Gregory Hines.

  • love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you are mint! i wish i could do that!

  • solo hoofin' was aiight...but the song and danced bootleg Fred Astaire was ....NOT! sing or danc, this view on the combined, isn't working for you.

    -MT

  • well even though the sound was a few seconds off, the tap noises were so crisp and clear... what a fantastic tapper. and the singing was well done also! i enjoyed it. some of those tap moves/beats were just amazing, and it makes me want to try it.. even though i'd butcher the moves. hahah.

  • I love it! So cool. Finally some hoofin!

  • Loved the end, when the video was finished. Nah Im juz jokin! You have got alot of talent! You've got a voice to match! I'm glad to see theres still a talented dancer/singer existing on this planet. However, I would recommend that you work on that posture, use your upper body like you did with those pirouettes.

  • please marry me.

  • aye matey! ahoy!! LOL!!

  • Hey, really cool, love it! :-) keep on tappin!

  • ok "mate".

  • Well, if you seen "em" a thousand times you must be pretty good at "em," lets see you try.

I thought you were wonderful, hiphopkid. Get it! :)

  • @hoofbeat1 Are you really judging him? Post a video showing you're better or don't be a whiney, bossy douche-bag.

  • wow, I enjoyed that video!!! 5 stars!!

  • loverly clean rhythmical tapping

  • Thanks for posting that, I enjoyed the tappin.

  • Nice moves! Are you in a professional dance troupe?

  • Gee golly gosh! Your feet surely must have been enchanted by a most powerful wizard!
