@206thesexofseattle she meant because they perform in pairs. since the two dancing can't watch themselves, they can only watch the other 8 or to break it down, they can only watch the other 4 pairs do their tryout dance.

Yes, from what I understand cheerleaders are generally overachievers, and most of them get very good grades and use their heads to produce really great work and ideas!
