The best way for this to not have happened is if ALL of the people on the island were allowed to carry high calibre firearms. @Will224000 The guy was a farmer who legally owned several firearms, and a right-winger who hated muslims. It sounds like many Texans. Not to say that any Texan would do anything like this, but with demographics like this guy had, how would you know he would do something like this?
