  • That Link guy knows what hes doing. Its always an uphill battle with a lower tier like Link vs a high tier like Marth, but this guy owned him up anyway, except for one mistake.

  • I wouldn't go THAT far. Marth seems for the most part unchanged from Melee aside from a few of Brawl's fundamental physics which affect all the characters. This isn't a bad thing when Marth was always considered a good character. Link, being a bit faster with attacks in Brawl, with stronger projectiles (and his Up smash looks like it hits all three times more often, I like that) seems like a little more of a force to be reckoned with compared to Melee.

  • Brawl has been out for less than two weeks and it's a very different game from Melee. Marth could absolutely end up being low tier.

  • Don't forget you can grab the edge facing either direction. I saw the Marth player at one point walk towards the ledge, turn around and shorthop to edgehog. Not necessary ;)

  • The Link player performed better, no doubt about that. The Marth guy had to resort to spamming grabs to try and get back, and if Link hadn't made two mistakes trying to get back, he would have probably won.
