I'm getting fake gauges because I like the way they look, but I want to be able to wear normal earings. ._. I'm sorry that not all of us want to have huge holes in our ears. This is to all the people in the comments saying to "Do the real thing and not use the gay fake ones." If you start stretching your ear you & theres a point when you might get a blowout you are seriously gonna hate it.I'm at a 8g right now i will admit that i skipped some sizes (4 sizes)I'm gonna go to a 6g pretty soon...My point is if you are actually gonna stretch your ear make sure you don't skip soo many sizes ):!

@MeddlesomeChild  A normal piercing hole is USUALLY 18g. MOST of the fake tapers are 16g ... Yes, it may feel uncomfortable stretching from 18 to 16, but it's worth it. Just make sure if you stretch it , that you clean them before you go to sleep and when you wake up.

@dramacrazy123 , I was at 20g and i just popped em right in. just make sure you hold your ear right in the back, it may feel a little numb and bleed slightly (if at all) cause it stretches.. But not a enough to make a difference lol.. Also... if you like them and want to sizeup you can from a 16g. Im using tapers to stretch at the moment, and its going fine.

There's two problems with fake stretching your ears.

1) You don't wear tapers as an everyday thing when you have stretched ears.

They are for stretching only, so that just looks stupid.

2) Don't be a pussy, just stretch them.

@xxTeamDestructionxx When you start out with small sizes, like let's say you stretch to a zero, you can tell if you're going to look okay with them. Personally, it doesn't matter if someone else thinks you shouldn't stretch your ears, if you want to do it. If you like the style do it. I personally think ear stretching is beautiful. I'm at 1 inch on my ears and I love them. They take a bit to close once you don't want them, but it is worth it.

I started gauging behind my mom's back...but i kept telling her I wouldnt get them any bigger. long story short she got over it and im at 5/8" and staying there. as long as you stay in Gauge meter parents should be fine with it, even though my ears havent lost their form.
