The only way I can enjoy AI 8 is to completely put David Cook out of my mind as no one comes close to his talent. I would love to see another fantastic singer discovered by AI, but I doubt it will happen. That is not to say Kris, Anoop, Matt and Adam aren't good, just not on the same level as David.
Simon knows how to push a contestant to their best. He's done it in every season, and he did it to David Cook. He's pushing Adam Lambert this season too.
