  • not i didnt really like it ..but you can do it better ..what is the main idea

  • pretty good :)

you could add your video to one of those video contests, like yobi film

  • Loved the film! At first I thought there's kind of a strange distance in the main character, then after watching the film again I think he works really well. I could have used an extreme close shot of his face earlier. Great job!

  • Salut... Very well done Everest, I liked it. I recently made my first short film also and I was aiming to do a 3 minutes short but I found it too difficult to summarize everything in such a short time and ended up with 9 minutes instead. That's what I liked most about your film, your ability to keep it in 3 minutes and still maintain the feeling.

  • Just like you I would like to get my work rated and commented (I didn't go to film school nor took workshops) I just appreciate film as an art form and would like to know what other people think about my first work (if it has potential or not).

I shot mine in Montreal too; did they ask you for a permit to shoot in the metro?

  • My editing is very rough I used windows movie maker and an old commercial camcorder; I think it has a similar feeling to yours. But besides the technical errors that I'm aware of I would like to know if people like it.

Look for it here in youtube using tags: juan carlos canale my first short film.

    Merci

  • well.. if you go after midnight in the metro, you should not have any problem

  • good work (my favorite was how he changed in a phone booth with glass walls :D) It was cool though.

  • very nice

  • Wow, this was excellent. It's a pity you got disqualified -- this was certainly better than anything submitted last year, even the winners. I plan on entering this year's Film Fest... good luck with your future film endeavors.

  • good luck to you too valentrinne

  • thanks man... appreciate this.. good luck.. send me your link when your movie is up!!

  • great job. excellent job in fact. The thing is with Insomnia film festival is that they look for anything but the norm of film. They want innovation, not immitation. This has some innovation to it. If you weren't in canada and edited it on Final cut or something, I think you would've won. Great job. I'm doing the festival for the '07 year...wish me luck!!!

  • it was shoot with Canon XL2 and edit with Sony Vegas

  • Why did they disqualitfy you? I thought it was international?

  • Amazing footage. I figured you used FCP, but when I realized it was sony vegas, I was very impressed. Good luck in the near future.

  • it was shoot with Canon XL2 and edit with Sony Vegas
