If FADC wasn't here and this was let's say 3rd Strike mechanics, he wouldn't be able to get away with the same stuff. Capcom never intended him to be a "Good" character. Only the players pursue to do the best they can with him. In short, Sanford ain't no joke. But Dan himself is.

Sanford is a good player and is especially potent with DP characters..Dan is no exception.

I've played his Gouken, Viper, Ryu, Sagat, etc. and no matter who he is he plays like he's mained that character since release. His Dan is no exception, apparently! LOL
