~Bono, of course, is moving. The vocals are great and the way his voice changes levels is totally enrapturing. Larry is whaling on the drums, looking like perfection and making the (un)basic beat for the whole song. Edge, has that solo that makes you want to tear his clothes off, frankly. Lastly, bassist Adam thumping out the reverberant beat in your ears, that one that makes your heart pound a little faster when you hear this song; looks like a hippy/student up there on stage, nodding around.

I'd seen Rattle and Hum and then saw them in Paris and heard this track. Superb Edge solo, Bono sang those words and I lost my voice all through a haze of emotional tears! Everyone should be able to witness that.

@jhd1004 I think some people feel those lines were the precursor to ONE....who knows....but maybe....Always by U2 is the precursor to Beautiful Day and I like it more I think....still somewhat raw and unfinished...I think....
