The media referred to this as a swamp, but in these pictures, it looks very tranquil,very tropical,not swampy at all.Maybe in Casey's mind, this was a peaceful resting place? She spent many hours there as a teen,so it may have held 'good' memories for her.Just trying to get inside her mind here.

Casey was known to have a history of seizures and telling unreal stories, but she had no history of violent or cruel behavior or mistreating Caylee. All the witnesses said she would never harm Caylee.

I'm very frustrated too but it's not the jury's fault that the state brought this to trial with no evidence to back up their charges. Unfortunately their doing so ends the possibility of Casey ever being tried again if evidence ever is found that links her to Caylee's death. All they had was suspicion due to her strange stories, but no evidence she was the killer. She could have told the stories for a variety of reasons, for ex, to protect her own life or just due to a brain or mental disorder

there wasn't any evidence that Casey Anthony killed Caylee, cookie. None of the evidence from Caylee's remains and the scene matched to Casey. The fibers the FBI took from the remains didn't match to Casey, the Anthony home, or the Pontiac (the FBI completely analyzed all of the above.) The residues and soils on Casey's clothing, shoes, car were also different from the scene. The DNA on the duct tape on Caylee's skull was someone else's, not Casey's (it had marker 17, the partial DNA. )

Thanks to NifterMedia for providing so many nice videos and useful audio from this case. I know, when I would look at any of the crime scene photos or Dominic Casey's video for example, even in my own photos taken later on, I would see SO many faces/skulls/weird images in the photos. Both on the ground and in the trees. I think the effect is created by all the cypress roots, leaves, etc. But it was really weird. A lot of people mentioned having the same thing

This case will be an example of just how well our justice system works or it it has been damaged beyond repair by the lies of defense attorneys. If killer TotMom gets away, then its because her liar defense attorneys have succeeded in blocking actual worthwhile evidence and keeping the jury from seeing EVERYTHING. Er, in case you didn't know it, criminal juries rarely are allowed to see ALL the evidence. Defense attorneys keep some of it hidden and/or blocked in court.
