  • i cant believe most of u guys are letting these people down all i can say is if u think its shit well have u tried doing it yourself and if u haven't try it u just might like it if u don't ur head be it be a saddo all your life doing wot u doing while people like them and us make the world a better place cause really it just save people from being really lazy and puts more fun into normal running

  • 43 dislikes come on if you dont like it ou dont have to put thumbs down.

  • gtrt

  • guys you are awesome thanks for all the help and inspiration, you do it for free just to expand this art and this lifeway, now that's good people :) I will keep using your forums and i will retrieve you as much as i can.

ps: sorry if my english is not that good

  • a certain ssong spring to mind with these guys,

remember the name, justt with more concentrated power of will

  • this is great! tnx guys

  • That was genuinely inspiring - thanks! :D

  • fuck i just broked my leg so i kant do any of this

  • awesome advice!

  • Believing in your self and you will do it 99 percent of the time

  • hahah 5:34 when he says "weather is bad" the guy on the far left goes to check heheh

  • i like how there holding milk HAHA

  • yeah you'll forget your ankle was aching and ended up rolling it then your out for another 2 weeks i dont think thats effective training..... sometime i go out with loose ankles and just keep sprain re injure re-sprain and that really isnt good for the body you cant live to your maximum potential if your not in you best condition keeping and injury injured can and will limit you if it becomes that extensive....

but what they are saying about pushing yourself all aside is still very true

  • Do it for your girl, yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. That's what gave me the courage to do a frontflip

  • hey guys, does enybody know how to actually get into free-running? ive been wanting 2 start 4 ages but once im even trying 2 practise, i feel tht i just cant do it. Do ppl self-teach themselves in such as a park? or do yu train in a safe environment indoors with a teacher? Please, i rely want like 2 know ASAP!!!

  • @PancakeGaming start small. See a low level wall and think "I wanna vault over that", if you don't have the confidence or you think you can't do it, just start by jumping over it by using your feet. Once your comfortable with that move on to one foot and finally no feet, the whole thing. You can't go straight in and expect to do a backflip off a 20ft high wall. You need to start in your comfort zone and gradually build on that until you are ready for the difficult stuff.

  • @PancakeGaming Another thing that is important is always start in an area you know well around friends. Friends can give you the confidence you need and can (without making you do something you really don't want to do) get you to overcome your fears. The right footwear and good weather conditions and you can do alot of the things you can't. Lastly, it takes time, do not expect great things in the first few days or even weeks, it could take months just stay commited and progress slowly :)

  • @PancakeGaming

mate you just have to decide what would benifet you the most for example i train by myself and give myself encouragement because i work better by myself then having my mates watch me while i train, but you might be better training with friends so you just have to train anyway that is easier for you so yeah it basically all comes down to your personal perferance

  • @Yrz94 lol

  • was he drinkin' milk .. ! eww!

  • @XSJQx yes!!! lol!

  • my love for freeruning is one thing, my strength is avarage but thanks to you i will try to improve my mental thinking :)

  • thanx guys!!!! that gave me the push i needed 2 keep on going =D

  • im a beginner in parkour im so shy in or place to do parkour for theres so many insultive people around here can somebody give me some advices

  • @hendroxen17 Ignore them shut them out

  • I want to do a jump which probably has a 11-12ft gap! What could happen if I fail it (^~^)

  • Pure inspiration. My god.

  • Comment removed

  • haha the two guys on the left said nothing :D

  • @ruskishooric holy words, give thanks tu your mind and you will feel all right. Is word of parkour, let's pray.

  • LOL- I love how it goes from being so serious to the boys being complete dorks in the end :) Its great!

  • Salute theses young men for providing the doorway to devloution. For centuries we have been told to stand up staright and walk in a straight line. These are the natural movements of human beings. Taking us back to the days when we would hunt for our food. Like a panther in the night we used to stalk our prey. These are those movemnets. These motion will come esier to you if you have a destination to reach or a predator to avoid.

  • @rogerksmith FINALLY!! Another person that understands that parkour is natural movement we humans have bottled up and kept on the shelf for millenia's! When I do parkour in urban settings, I rule the obstacles, not just adapt to them. A feeling of pride and confidence is neccesary to do good in parkour.

  • That very very much I hav been chickening out of so many things but after all this great advice I never chicken out any more I flow through and think less of way could happen if I miss or mess up but more of how awesome would it be if I did this... Again thanks

  • Poderiam colocar uma legenda , que tal ?

  • you just got yourself a new subscriber. :)

  • this is amazing advice, no one close just cause of the 8min. length.

  • "You do sthg, then You bail, You learn so much, cas You've gone out of Your boundaries of comfort into the next level, You're up on it's next step."

That's very well put, and not just a good advice, but a great summary of developing You talents and self, in every possible way! A noble goal in life.

  • Ah you guys are REAL thanks for the share. Need ta hear this stuff right now :-) a reminder.

  • Words of wisdom, my friends. I shall keep them in my mind during every single training.

  • Nathan Barris is a monster compared to the rest of the group lol

  • @19stealth84 Is that a good or a bad thing? ^^

  • <3 I love u guys. Inspiration at it's best. :D

  • Thanks this really helped me a lot on my parkour training, really learned how to tackle a tough situations when it comes to my parkour training or just anything,

  • do i have to be fit to do parkour?....i mean with large muscles?...XD

  • @ar0yable mobility

  • @ar0yable

u get that muscles when u start fliping and climb buildings...

believe me it better then gym work....

  • @ar0yable

You don't need to be a super hero.

  • @ar0yable Nope you dont need large muscles, im the least muscley person ever and i can do it, sometimes i wonder how i do some flips... i have no flexibility or strength and sometimes bad technique, but i tend to make it over fine... Maybe im so ugly the ground repels me... I dont know, but what i do know is that anyone can do this, it just takes mental discipline and sometimes a slightly gun-hoe attitude doesn't go a miss!

  • @Doodlebugyro i know how you feel, i have no strength or muscle either, but we have speed, (and i have some flexability)

  • @Doodlebugyro You know, I'd disagree with you. Up to a certain point muscles are a HUGE help. You may be talented, extremely lucky, or just stronger than you think. Also, for a beginner, I'd lay the groundwork for freerunning similar to, say, gymnastics, insofar as physical preparation comes first. Also the stronger you are, the less falls hurt, and the more you can compensate for bad technique. My guess is that you are actually quite strong, just the muscles aren't as visible as a bodybuilder's

  • @MadFlenser I don't disagree with your point. Strong muscles help ofc, but you don't need to be "strong" to do this, that's the point I was making :) Happy training!

  • I over came my fear of heights by doing parkour :D, and now it feels great to jump form heights with out worrying (Y)

  • If Danny's a good friend of yours you should make a video together. :D

  • perhaps telling your stories on overcoming fear might help. Im sure thats one of the main problems for ppl doing beginner parkour. Including myself xD

  • the guy with the black shoes is the odd 1 out lol

  • who the guy at the end on the left

  • bailing on a flip is not fun but you still have to try

  • its all about self confidence ! and training!! if you train you get strong and patient and if you have so much self confidence you can do anything that your mind is thinking of !....

  • if you do not do that with delight and love and passion not to do anything ..passion is most important thing..

  • i nva new scott young was so quiet

  • you are a insperation man, with this you have helped me thinking in other ways then i realy do, i have never realy thoght about it the way you guys said and I have to say you guys are genius, evrything has helpd and im realy thankfull fore that.

But do you guys know any ways that can help me doing a wall flip i got a unhabbit that when im upside down in the wallflip i start to turn so then i cant land it so do you know somthing that can help ? I would appriciate it : )

  • Can anyone wirte the subtitles? Thumbs up if you have problems with translation without subs.

  • 21 dislikes?? Seriously?? What the hell is wrong with you guys, they are giving you ungrateful idiots ADVICE and HELP! If you are jealous of freerunners dont watch their AWESOME VIDS!!! Get over it losers, show some consideration for once in your lives.

  • @RationalSteely I hope a pair of scissors poop on your chest.

  • ..I just Thankyou 3run!!..all and each of you!!!

  • parkour is about 95% mental. the other 5% is largely a mixture of clothing, attitude, environment and a good video camera.

  • Well, I just wanted to thank you guys for that video, it was very inspiring and helpful.

And I recomend for anyone who want to learn flips, parkour or whatever, first watch this video.

    Thanks again

  • hey people need help i am very confident but i have that self barrier thingy there talka bout and i have no idea hwo to get over it

  • My names Alex and I havebeen using the videos to get me started in prakour, but i have been doing parkour for 3months. I am thankful for the tutorials 3run put out and im battling the mental part but I will get better at it.

  • i've noticed that when u try to pay too much attention you fail. when i do double backs, normally i just go and do them but once i concentrated like half a minute before jumping and ended up landing on my back :D

  • Milk is best energy drink, believe me or not.

  • @xXJunnuXx no. large monster is best energy drink.

  • the guy on the far left....his shoes dont fit in. hahaha. but on a serious note, i completely agree with this. humans need to go out and get better, we need to better our instincts.

  • Oh thats a great video guys. I love your opinions about pakour and freerunning.

I have learned so much through seeing your vids man. Keep making videos:)

  • Oh thats a great video, i love your opinions about parkour. And i have learned so much about parkour and freerunning just to see your vids. You helped me through alot of psychological issues about parkour.

  • im learning parkour and it isnt bad. ive been learning the vaults and the roll.im doing good at the vaults but the roll im over confident lol. the roll i have learned from you guys and others look like the rolls ive dont a lot. so i climbed on top of a soccer net frame at the park andi sat there for 15 mins. cuz i hate heights. so when i was ready i jumped down and rolled but i think i did it wrong. i only felt 2 parts hit the ground and they were on the same side . ill try the roll with no fall

  • this was great

  • this is a little off the topic of mentally preparing but im 18 and im worried that im a little to old to start learning flips my friends keep telling me this which puts me off alot because i keep thinking i might face palm the floor is it true or can you be any age ?

  • @haruhitsugara No your not to late, although it will be ALOT harder to learn most moves in parkour. Doing it at an age of 10 and less you might not be thinking, hmm i might break my neck if i faceplant, but instead your "only" worried about it hurting and so the fear is easier to get over.

    //mmacritic

  • @mmacritics believe in what you want thats also a VERY important mental suspect.

if you keep believing you'll get there, if you dont believe you'll be afraid and start to think negative.

  • @haruhitsugara dont listin to your friends, when i told my friends i practice parkour they where saying you never be able to do parkour you'll break that and that blablabla. they are probabely jalous becaus they cant do it so just practice flips on a trampoline then when your comfortable do it on grass and show them you can. most people dont know what they're talking about and thats why they think negative because they think only top atletics can do this but everybody is able to do this.

  • in summary...

    have fun!

  • My battle is in psychology. I'm afraid to fall that's why i fall... So, strengthening your body is easy, conditioning your body is easy, but conditioning your mind and strengthening it is really hard about 100% harder than physical training. Because I believe when you fall means you're afraid, you have too much confidence, and stuffs it's all in your head.

  • however good they are at parkour which they are and they have some good points but lets all be fair the whole "it helps me break boundaries in my mind" ....... "it helps me deal with my problems" ......... "trick my mind" thats all just shit its just fun and fun to do

  • @bingles11111 No disrespect at all but i can tell you don't practice parkour. For me the biggest thing has been the psychological jumps. Ive learned to mentally resist what i dont want to obtain a clear peace of mind to get what i do want. Everyone i run with agrees with this and im sure anyone who DOES practice parkour will tell you the same. MOVE YOUR BODY, MOVE YOUR MIND!

  • @subzero628 the irony is i do practice parkour and everyone who i train with thinks your lame free your body free your mind its all well and good but lets be fair we only do parkour cuss its fun and its not a discipline its a sport admittedly you need to block things from your mind and feel clear with what your doing but lets be fair the whole free your body free your mind shit is lame as fuck p.s. i already said this but i do , do parkour with alot of people

  • @bingles11111 "Everyone you train with thinks im lame?" lol says alot about yourself buddy. Im not trying to be mean, like it might not be the same for you as it is for me. Its definitely fun but its really tought me alot. It has really tought me mental discipline. And you might be right, but what you think only exists in YOUR MIND. Its just about how you percieve things. PEACE bro!

  • @bingles11111 Then obviously you dabble, you don't truly train. Parkour is as much psychological as it is physical. I'm not the best traceur in the world, but I have been training very dedicated for 3 years and I have lots of different experiences. I have trained with many people from many backgrounds in many places. Get over your ego and you might actually learn something.

  • Great Stuff guys thanx, mentality is the key

  • thank you! Definately helps! You guys are our #1 source for tutorials. You guys rule!!!

  • team 3run.. more like team kalenji... =P

  • I think it helps when you let other people do it first, I know that sounds a bit cowardly. but think, 'If they cant do it. Why the hell cant I' :D

  • Tru...i Freerun a lil....i just wana do more and mental training is important...i train that erry day...very inspiring vid...thx lots

  • awesome video guys, drinkin milk, thats awesome i do that, i am a free runner and i can deffo relate to this video

  • I never noticed that by thinking of a move as difficult, you're making yourself work twice as hard to accomplish it, but come to think of it, that's one of my main problems. Whenever I see a move that's impressive, I'll see it as difficult, when I'm able to do it without thinking too hard. I still have the fear of going backwards, but this helped a lot.

  • some problems you cant overlook, i was t

rainning the other week and i pulled something in my back, it ached for ages!!!

    btw awesome vid

  • Keep you ass alive cause I love you GUYES

  • this may sound strange but i learned how to front flip by playing football.. i created this move where i felt comfortable by placing the ball between my legs and flipping.

and then later i just took out the football and tryed to front flip. and at first i bailed. but thn i succeeded :)

  • Five stars says you guys are doing just fine. And i like to drink some tea beforehand, and then i just go out and train

  • thnx guys that helps alot 8)

  • I can't english xD this is hard xD lol I don't understand xD

  • its good that yu got over the fear fast

  • I agree.... The more you face fear and destroy it the more courage you gain.

  • I have a huge mental block with high precisions, i know i can jump that far, and in some cases have done the jump before(like 3-5 days ago), but for some reason i just can't do it again. when i get on the wall, and look at my target, i can't force my legs to push, and have stood there for hours Please help?

  • i learned to do a frontflip off stuff today :D

  • Very helpful and insightful. Thanks x.

  • helps alot, man today ive finally kong vaulted for the first time, feels good, i was HELLA SCARED but i did it :D

  • awesome! a technique you'll find very useful with kongs and spin vaults once you get comfortable is the gallop before vaulting. It gives you some more speed, but a great boost of height.

  • hey guys im 14 and ive been watchin some of your tutorials and wanted to know wat it is got you started im a beginner and would want to know so i can get into it

  • very good video:) helps a lot :)

  • thanks guys

i have big problems when it comes to moves like Aerials etc

  • very good, i am from Costa Rica you should watch our vids their name is aprkour costa rica well exellent parkour dudes we can train togueter some day well bye

  • I hurt mey knee bad recently and it's been hard getting my mind to let me do precisions. Parkour is very mental for sure.

  • i hurt my leg and it made me better, because i teied to make sure i didnt make that kind of mistake again, but yes very mental.

  • well thank you!

  • thank you so much you all have helped me with my jumps and flips thank u sooo much for giving the great advice!!!!!!!!!

  • recently i've been stalling a precision and everytime i wanna go and try it i seem to freeze up whenever i think im going to do it i won't, now after watching this i feel like doing it but i'm keep feeling like im risking something but i guess i'll just have to block it out somehow. thanks for the encouragement even though it wasn't specifically aimed at me :D

  • Go with the flow u guys r the tai chi masters of parkour.i love it.

  • Wow you guys really give the greatest advice,Its a freat way to think about just letting the situation flow. The mind tricking works great, because before I did a wallflip and I landed it but then for some reason I doubted myself, and I haven't tried it until just after watchin this vid and now I just completely give in to the natural movement of things.Thx so much, you guys are great.
