I have never met a competitive Karateka school with an ego EVER. It the ones who walk around who brag about their accomplishments and NO ONE EVER HEARD OF THEM. We believe that we are able to test are skills in a friendly match Karate vs Karate and still walk out. You putting this down shows who you are. Stop trolling...

what exactly is illegal,hitting the opponent?its speed n control not only on one side.i just wanted to say,when im hitting my opponent,i do it with speed n control,but during the action '1/2 a second',if the oponent also attacked n he did not control,so that's his problem,in some ways..karate is fighting art,if in a fighting art,u don't get some bruises,so your not doing any karate.i don't mean to go n hit the oponent while training,just to make him ko,but in kumite ,do speed n control.ooss

where did u find a knock out in this tournament?if someone is doing free style kumite,expect some bruises.if u don't want bruises,(i don't mean u),do kata or kihon kumites.we respect our oponent during our whole life,but hitting with speed n control is important in freestyle kumite.n i agree the aim is not knock out,but verify for kyokoushinkai or taekwondo ko,u'll see the diferens,n what is a ko.ooss
