  • I removed my comment.

  • Thats it Im saying some shit. People talk so much on here and are keyboard warriors. Why dont you guys fight these guys in a full contact match see how you do. These World champs are no joke. For so much shit talking I bet you none of you would last a second in the ring with these guys.

  • @gustavatwork No. sounds like youv'e never fought in a real competitive Karateka atmosphere. There is still honor in what we do. They train hard and APPLY THEIR MOVEMENTS. I have never met a competitive Karateka school with an ego EVER. It the ones who walk around who brag about their accomplishments and NO ONE EVER HEARD OF THEM. We believe that we are able to test are skills in a friendly match Karate vs Karate and still walk out. You putting this down shows who you are. Stop trolling...

  • i know if sucks to get punched but why do they make such a big deal, its like they got punched for the first time in their life

  • because this is not a box punch

    it realy hurts

  • box punch?

  • @kenseisato1989 a punch in karate is like getting hit by an iron bar , the iron bar being their arm that is.

  • @FLCL4EVER1

you should watch some older clips of kumite, people get hit bare fist and will fall to the ground and they still get up like its nothing and keep going

  • Do you call yourself a Sensei? If you do, and even if you arent a sensei, your comment shows me, that you havent learn anything in you training.

  • @alexstriker93 your and idiot.... for someone who takes Martial arts...dumbass.

  • i don't know brother I personally think that point sparring is weak but i gotta give some props to the guy from 0:26 to 0:29 he wasn't taking it easy on that guy.

  • Punching without power and kicking just like Tae Kwon Do???? This is not Karate Do!! It is WKF crap. The WKF distroyed the good image that Karate Do had around the world.

Don't get me wrong, I believe Shotokan is an excelent style but please stay away from these loosers...

I have done Renbukai Karate Do for 27 years now and when I see videos such as this it makes me sick.

No technique, no power, all winers and babies. A little touch and they all cry.

Wanna learn to fight or make cupcakes??

  • oi dipshit!!!!

that wasnt wkf, it was wuko.

    u twat!!!!

  • Very good!

    OSS!

  • WOW i DID NOT expect that this is pretty sick but if it was continuous, that might be a lil to crazy tho lol

  • 1:19, ouch...

  • Most of the time these guys just wait to throw a punch! They might as well have become boxers instead!

  • hey baby, put your hands up!

  • this is actually very brutal. i'm impressed

  • IS there some rule every single MA action video must be set to ear-blasting music> Or is it people who post these things have no @#$% minagination and just do the same @#$% thing over and over?

  • bunch of lanky idiots

  • this is karate suck! no control, no anything!

  • Shotokan fighters that would kick your ass:

Lyoto Machida, Shotokan 3rd Dan, 13-0 in the UFC. Beat wrestlers, kickboxers, Judo men, Kyokushin champion Sam Greco as well...

Chinzo Machida (his brother), Shotokan 4th Dan, fought his first fight against a Muay Thai fighter:

    watch?v=n4L4jDitr8o

  • there is nooo martial art a joke. If you practise it hard enough (doesnt matter what) there will be always a chance against other MA. Its just about reaction and strengh... martial arts begin not just with technic but also with heart and soul. <<<<its just about the charakter... but competitions like that r really not martial art...

  • @BlackMadORose We dont need your opinion on what are MA's. This people are giving their soul and heart to learn this and they show it in a real combat: so, it's not like many other pussy styles! Who are just like, "we will fight but you dont hit me in my face."

And please dont be stupid like I am at this moment to post comments if u know you can hurt someone with your words! Because what you say is, "This is not a martial art" which is very disrespectful.

  • @BeatySword I just said NO martial art is a joke! you definitly got me wrong but THIS kind of competition is a joke to me. Its just about earning points!! its not what the spirit of martial art is.And if you think this kind of competions are MARTIAL ART I am really sorry for you! I broke my nose myself.I know what can happen in those competions and that its not "easy" BUT its not real fighting! You have to go to Japan/china and see the spirit, when old people practise!you will see the DIFFERENCE

  • you know nothing, so plz shut up and piss off.

  • Shotokan is #1.

  • christope pinna 00:26

  • when bad things happen... :-/

  • it's shotokan or something similar.. fake-karate!

the pretend to fight but stop the kicks and punches. all the sampled knockouts here are accidents!

  • There are also Full contact tournements in Shotokan..

Fake karate??? Good fighters can easily use full power, if needed..

  • there are no NO! fullcontact fights in shotokan! if you don't believe me, it's only because you do shotokan yourself and don't know what fullcontakt is.

i made shotokan many years ago and changed to real (kyokushin) karate after i had a real fight and did not know how to handle it.

  • Im sorry you had trouble handling it.. But true good shotokan fighters can..

  • there are no good shotokan fighters, only good shotokan players! shotokan is not realistic fighting. for fun i met shotokan blackbelts and national champions to do some sparring and i knocked out every single one (which is not so simple with kyokushin fighters or thaiboxers)!

  • Fake karate? Shotokan is not realistic? There are no good Shotokan fighters? Oh really? Are you sure?

Lyoto Machida, Shotokan 3rd Dan, 13-0 in the UFC. Beat wrestlers, kickboxers, Judo men, Kyokushin champion Sam Greco as well...

Chinzo Machida (his brother), Shotokan 4th Dan, fought his first fight against a Muay Thai fighter:

    watch?v=n4L4jDitr8o

What do you say to that, constableman??? Care to reconsider your statement?

  • hey hotora86, this chinzo fought intelligent with his straight punches. but i didn't see much shotokan in the moves of lyoto's fc-fights. not the shotokan i know. both are good fighters you are right.

  • please, recall your comments, you used the words "for fun". this means that the shotokans probably take it easy on you and treat it as a 'leisure match' they do not care as much about the results as YOU do. if you keep having the false impressions of being very good, you will never improve

  • wow!! that was probably the most stupid comment i ever read at youtube....

man, that was amazing! you must be as smart as a cow.. -or even smarter!

  • thank you for your 'compliment' in that case,if im as smart as a cow, then yours would be equivalent to a frog (: and WOW, your home is like a well then (:

  • LOL, A bad workman will always blame his tools!!

  • Isso é Karatê Shotokan/ This is Karatê Shotokan

  • Not KO.

  • does somebody know the rules?

why is it necessary to hit a guy with a "fake punch" when he is on the floor?

does it count as a point or something like that?

  • sweeping techniques in order to score is usually followed by a punch(in some rare opportunities a kick). a punch that was executed immediately following the sweeping technique is an act of decisiveness to finish the opponent, sweeping techniques which are delivered and sweeps the opponent off their feet and followed by a punch are scored with 3points while sweeping techniques which are delivered in the same manner but just outbalance his opponent is awarded with 2 points.

  • if u throw the guy, and then finish with a puch, then its 3 points, while if he trips and falls and u finish him, then its 1 point.

  • Que pena que estos buenos deportistas se tengan que romper la cara y las costillas, existiendo los cascos y petos de koshiki karate. Seguro que seria mucho mas espectacular aun, y sin riesgos. El mundo no hay quien lo entienda.

  • yes is legal i was in a tournament and all that is legal

  • like it

  • no u cant do it cuz karate teachs respect to yout enemy so its illegal

  • what exactly is illegal, hitting the opponent?its speed n control not only on one side.i just wanted to say, when im hitting my opponent,i do it with speed n control, but during the action '1/2 a second',if the oponent also attacked n he did not control,so that's his problem,in some ways..karate is fighting art,if in a fighting art,u don't get some bruises,so your not doing any karate.i don't mean to go n hit the oponent while training, just to make him ko,but in kumite ,do speed n control.ooss

  • IS THAT LEGAL¿¿

  • Keep your hands up maybe?

  • ...fists flailing wildly

  • They wouldn't get knocked out if they wouldn't parry as much and had some head movement.

  • Is it the aim to knock out the opponent in a tournament? I think not...

  • where did u find a knock out in this tournament?if someone is doing free style kumite, expect some bruises.if u don't want bruises,(i don't mean u),do kata or kihon kumites.we respect our oponent during our whole life, but hitting with speed n control is important in freestyle kumite.n i agree the aim is not knock out,but verify for kyokoushinkai or taekwondo ko,u'll see the diferens,n what is a ko.ooss

  • oh men where is the KO?
