Went to see U2 in 87 when they played in Croke Park, The Pogues and The Dubliners were both supporting and did their individual sets, they then both came out and performed The Irish Rover, to say the crowd went nuts would be an understatement. I'd love to see footage of it but alas don't think I will.

Top Of The Pops used to be live, not all of it was taped. They started dubbing in the mid 80's but even after that there was some live performances.
