One day kids will be sitting in a history classroom watching this video on their personal 3d monitors as an example of early uses of 3d, they'll all hate at the shitty quality like we do at old films.
@oRS4DUBSTEPo I really hope we are going to have crazy missions like the shitspraying and whore-stealing but I would love to see a good story too (Carlos man)
But I'm sure we'll get those because the Dev's seem like real bro's.
Can't wait for them to show more stuff at Comic-con
What a great way to do outdoor advertising. This stellar 3D projection mapping animation was created by VISION Production Group. Equipment and technology was provided by LD Systems. We would like to see more of their creative work. Please let us know more projects they do.
once they figure out how to "black out" the windows in the background this will be 100%, still totally awesome atm. the water and window light effects were definately the best
This is too much... and if they made a such a big ad for a car that means one thing : it needs convincing ! Good cars sells themselves, no need of huge ad campaigns.
That's fine. I'm going next year to buy a Lexus. This quality, prestige and beauty. My friend in Batumi (my city) has a car. He is very happy. I advise anyone who loves great cars.
Aren't you suppose to Go Green and CONSERVE energy on the Earth Day and I wonder how much electricity they consumed?!?! Totally not that cool for the Earth Day.
@venuste One generator tank of fuel. The same amount of paper advertising equivalent (as this was sen by millions) would have consumed multiple tanks of fuel for distribution..
@Hareshi I agree. for some reason i thought there was going to be some sort of story to follow but it's more like an ad showcasing 3D projection technology with the CT200h just thrown in it.
@RandyOB1 It isn't a commercial. It is 12xHD content designed to be projected onto one specific building in the world as is each mapping projection project. The intent is to have the public record the content and have the footage spread virllay.
@vinny1010 You do realize that did that on a real building? That took amazing technology. I am sure this is boring to you, so go back to your coloring book. I would love to see your imbred ass create a video even 1/10th as good as this one.
For celebrating earth day, i wonder how much electricity it took to run that show. Yeah, it was a cool show, but all that light and sound had to have had an electricity bill for somebody to pay. I just wonder how the electricity was made to run those lights and sound system, how much it cost, and what the carbon footprint was for an advertisement.
@TheMobiusTrap The system used a quiet running film production generator and consumed he equivalent of a tank of gas. Had the effort been spent on same amount of print to reach the same number of viewers who will eventually see it online, there would likely have been more than a couple dozen truckloads of paper off to the landfill. Those would have needed more than a single tank of gas. Zero carbon footprint? No. Looking for a more efficient way? Always
