you're probably right! It's somewhere between Richmond and Chiswick. I used "Richmond" in the title 1. because I wasn't sure of the actual place name 2. because more people have heard of Richmond!

Yes, you're on the Richmond side of the river, probably Kew gardens, overlooking Isleworth. The church is St. Mary's and just out of shot on the left is the "London Apprentice" pub. That should clear up any confusion! :)
