About the traxxas rims only fitting traxxas tires, thats false! Ive got some traxxas all stars 2.8 inch rims with imex 2.8x10 claw dawg wide on them. They mount exactly the same and they are the best tires ive found. I run them on my nitro rustler front and back. And on my slash 4x4 awsome!

Do you realize Jang; that it took you more than 6 minutes to tell people to use wide offset wheels on their stampede 4x4 so the wheels wont rub? lol very informative Jang, but kinda like watching WQED's science shows with karl sagan, and you even remind me of him a little bit(he was a great man! so take it as a compliment) not trying to tell you how to do things, but if there was a way you could shorten things a little bit, you'd be the top of everyones list of you tube RC shows! well done BTW

I didn't spend 6 minutes explaining that. I understand that most people have no patience for anything and I do try to shorten myself when reasonable, but I prefer to explain how and why, not just what. Holding onto the fantasy that folks like to actually understand things, and not just be told exactly what to do like robots! Not giving up.

great video, when i had my 2WD slash I bought a 1/8th scale conversion to run buggy wheels/tires on it. It opened up a huge amount of possibilities with wheels/tires and looked sweet. Just another idea.

actually you can fit other 2.8" tires on traxxas rims. simply take an x-acto knife and trim the lip on the rim. im using stampede rims on my highroller using the stock losi tires. it will be my 2nd set. the stock tires are amazing all terrain basher tires. alot more traction on road than traxxas talon tires. im using the pede rims simply for the look and the 12mm hex. my first set worked out really well. the rims were in bad shape from the start so now i have to build a 2nd set.
