if there is no body work and no rust and you pull some of the trim,, you will have to determin what all to remove .. example door handles,, locks.. window trim, mirrors,,,so with all of the labor in that and the labor in spray time and color sand and buff for a quality job...ill have just in labor...your looking at around 4000.00

@MEMPHIZCITY300 ..i used nova orange from house of kolor.. its a gloden orange with a lot of metallic flake in it, so that when the sun hits it, it sparkles up through the kandy..I would use wichever paint has the most metallic flake in it.... I would prob go the silver..

I have a 1949 Chevy Suburban, still in the planning stages but I really like this color. It will be a two tone paint job, most likely this color or some other dark color on the top and the fenders and running boards. What color would you paint the main body and hood to go with this color? Some kind of silver comes to mind first, any recommendations? Also for a vehicle that will actually be driven fairly often is this kind of paint durable at all? Is it really hard to touch up if damaged?

Beautiful paintjob, seems this car got sanded down and cleared again, or the masking paper around the edges was taken off after paint so it doesn't stick to clear. Usually cars have the overlap of paint shown on the edges where body and paper meet. Can you let us know if this was second clearing after sanding. Once again nice car, color and quality

It's just my opinion but the Cars of today are nothing but plastic. Plastic cracks and faids. I highly doubt that a Nisson or Toyota will bring as much as a muscle car does now in the future when they will be considered antique. Cars of today all basically look the same- no style like the cars of the 40's 50's 60's even early 70's Once again only an opionion. If you like these cars more power to you.

I'm building a 57 chevy as we speak. The F-150 Ford still has a driveshaft to the rear wheels so that isn't bad. That's why they are still souped up. I'll probably put a Ford 9" rear in my 57. I want that color on my 57! LOL
