it is a supercharged LS402. the supercharger adds an ass load of power without effecting gas. if u wanna see a gas sucking engine... get a 350 high output and put it in a mid sized truck.

In order to run properly, engines need a good air and fuel mixture. When more air is forced into the engine, it needs to inject more fuel to level the mixture out. That's why supercharger and turbo kits come with (or call for) bigger injectors and larger fuel pumps. Having a supercharger definitely effects gas mileage.
