Having watched the movie Troy.... many times. I finally ended up watching the credits and heard this beautiful song.. Josh Groban has a voice of such great power. He has matured over the years into an amazing singer. This song so suits the story of Achilles.

what a great song - performed beautifully by Josh- yet if you listen to it in the movie (during the credits at the end) the whole thing is speeded up and abbreviated to a degree which makes it sound absurd and cheap.

Achilles did not look like Brad Pitt! Him being blonde, pale white and blue eyed is a lie. lol! That's just Nazi Nordicists trying to claim ancient Greek history, since they're quite jealous of how glorious it was.

Go to Google Image search and type in: "ancient greek achilles"

Then scroll down, you'll see multiple depictions of Achilles in actual ancient GREEK art on pots, clearly showing a "swarthy" black haired, brown eyed man.

Now type "Ancient Greek Frescoes"

@Northax I m not so sure. I m Greek and what my teacher taught me at school once I was a boy was that Achilles the son of Thetis was blonde. Probably I ll have to read again Homer's Iliada to see if you re right or wrong. You might be right but right now I m just not sure. Anyway all Greeks are not black haired only a percentage of them, most of them have dark brown hair and a few are indeed blond.

Paris, hector's younger brother shouldn't of stole a kings woman then the war and the death of his family wouldn't have happened but i suppose you can not stop love, but troy wouldn't of been destroyed if he took Helen of Sparta eh so confusing right there...

@AshleighBaby1990 Well the Paris and Helen thing was part of it, but even if they were not in love Agamemnon would have still come after Troy eventually. The whole affair thing just made it easier for Agamemnon to manipulate his brother in fighting along side him.
