Guys - dont get your panties all up in a bunch. As the poster said, his turban fell off, fine. He should be given credit to finish what he started. If you were running for your country in the Olympics, would you not finish it if your turban came off? Would you not run out of a building on fire and instead go back to collect your turban if it came off? Or running behind a thief?
I am a turban tying sikh who has never cut/shave/trimmed any facial hair. Respect the culture but dont over do it!
Bhangra only looks good with a pagg, a turban.....that's the beauty of Bhangra; it has its own identity, its own uniform...
The guy in the yellow is an idiot for two reasons; one, because he doesn't have a Turban, and two, most importantly, he is a Sikh and doesn't have his Turban.
yo all u pplz saying he's disrespecting the culture wth i bet u guyz dnt even gott turbans atleast he kept his hair nd beard so what if it fell off he didnt drop it on purpose he did a great job
Umm, posting this video wasn't meant for controversial reasons... My friend, the girl in yellow, is the reason why. Plus these guys are so good at the bhangra thing. The turban on his head fell off while he was dancing. Give it a rest, people.
first of all he is sikh definitely.... u can tell by beard and hair.... and secondly ... in bhangra u need a pagh.. if u dont have it.. atleast tie a patka
lol you dont have to be Sikh to have long hair lol, actually its not a joke this is men look, even if he is Siekh maybe he chooses not to wear the uniform.
as a performer he must finish his performance .. and I respect him for having the courage to continue on and not walk out on his team/friends. He's not in a gurudwara where he must cover his head..Sikhs are (that too Khalsa Sikhs alone, not Sehjadhri Sikhs) required to grow hair, no where does it say they must wear a turban all the time.
You can ask any Bhangra competition judge, I am sure he/she will tell you that you should go offstage if anything comes off, fix it however way possible, and return back.
My comments weren't related to sikhi, I meant as a Bhangra performer, he needs to fix his dress malfunction.
MY BAD then.. He had split seconds to decide whether to continue or go offstage, and I am sure his mates respect him for continuing on. It takes a lot of guts to overcome a dress malfunction and performlike a trooper. But you also make a valid point here. ...
Many others have and will criticize him for disrespecting "sikhi and culture", which is not fair.

Respect to the Sikh for the fact that he carried on even though the turban fell off. As they say "the show must go on!" :D
