  • What a shit stoppage. Morrison was gassed and wasting his energy throwing more noodle armed punches.

  • Comment removed

  • Terrible stoppage. Fussy refs ruin boxing. Yes, I know about protecting the fighters, etc.but in instances like this one, Ruddock would have lasted the round and possibly regrouped. It's called boxing, ref, b/c people do get boxed around.

  • "We have seen almost nothing of the Tommy Morrison's left hook in this bout. Ruddock, with his good left hook, has neutralised Morrison's."..."Big left hook! Down goes Razor Ruddock!"

  • this Ruddock had a dang iron chin

  • 1:20 damn it...but how can you get up from that?? I mean that ruddock was tough dude because he took several shots from tyson, morrison and lewis. Besides didnt morrison admit that he took steroids and many people let him do that because he was one of the best white boxers t hen?

  • People seem to know everything about Tyson skills by judging from his last 10 fights. I´ve seen them all, every round and even some amateur fights. Every style has it´s weekness, it´s like rock paper scissors. Tyson depended on speed more than his powerful hands. For that reason Tyson´s prime was short, but dominant. In his prime, very few fighters would have stood a chance. Neither of the names below would have had a chance up until 87-88 when his focus began to shift.

  • Wladimir Klitskcho would have crushed either of them.

  • @TheGreatGodFeces you obviously know jack shit

  • @ghengisnghe

I know the Facts Jack, and the fact is that either of the Klitskchos would have destroyed them.

  • Morrison would have crushed Tyson in one round.

  • Ok, as a white man who is not a Tyson fan, just let me say this... Tyson would've knocked Morrison out within 5 rounds.

  • I fuckin hate comments based on predictions and here is full of em.then about tyson,he was not terrifying as his look would tell you,a tattoo in the face and a badass look dont make you the strongest man on the ring.hes too overrated, lewis and douglas know that.

  • @slugfestdude lewis and douglas waited till tyson was older and slow.

  • @ghengisnghe lewis is just one year younger than tyson, tyson has no excuses for that loss

  • @ghengisnghe Lewis is older so how do you figure that?? Tyson fought his fare share of Tomato cans...when ever he fought someone that wasn't afraid of him. he got beat nearly every time!!!

  • Tommy Morrison was a good fight but you guys really think Morrison had a chance against Tyson?!? Ridiculous! In the 90s only Lewis, Holyfield and Bowe were greater fighters than Tyson. Morrison wouldn't have been able to survive Tyson's power punches.

  • @Xenu I give 90s Tyson (admittedly a shadow of the 80s one) a shot to win against Bowe because the latter was so inconsistent. If the Bowe who showed up against Andrew Golota had faced Tyson on one of those nights when Mike was well-prepared, I think Tyson would have beaten him.

  • The fight was called to soon,he wanst hurt bad enough.

  • @illbeda I agree. It was too quick.

  • Mike Tyson has six losses, five by KO,it would have been six but remember he was DQ'd for biting Holyfield's ears off,and if I could take a guess why he did not fight Morrison would be the three years he did for rape,a class act.

  • Haha tommy morrison heavy weight champ. Has a ring to it. And morrison wuld beat tyson. Tyson isnt used to an opponent that just attacks and attcks like he does. Hed be throwing off

  • This is TOMMY GUN...

HE CAN FUCK EVERY MONKEY in the BOXİNG RİNG..

  • Can somebody tell me why Tyson didn't fight Morrison?

  • @Jackhammercock Because black monkeys like Tyson are always afraid of Tommy GUN MORRİSON..

  • @SUSSTURUCU

Dude Tyson would have destroyed Tommy weak chin Morrison.

  • @SUSSTURUCU A black monkey destroyed him named Ray Mercer. Look it up wack motherfucker

  • Razor Ruddock had such a glass jaw it wasn't funny...lol

He hits Morrison with a big left hook and Morrison takes it and Hits Ruddock with his own left hook, and down Ruddock goes...lol

  • @tom11zz884 razor looks shot by this fight, he absorbrd lot out of mike tyson fight and ofcourse lnnox ft.

  • That Referee fixed the fight! Sure he would have won, but that standing 8 and last stoppage was horrible!!

  • @lucky44124 Ruddock got stopped a couple times way too early because of the way he looked when he got hurt. Whenever he would get even slightly stunned his legs turned to noodles and his body flopped all over the place. He always looked REALLY hurt even when he wasn't in such bad shape, so refs would stop it. Same thing happened in his fight with Tyson.

  • I think Morrison's problem was his slightly lead with his chin! His face was almost the same distance as his gloves? He didnt duck his chin enough and his was leaning foward allot. Pretty be flaw in your defense... I think thats why he always got caught

  • Could've gone either way. Ruddock had a solid chin and probably would have weathered that storm at the end of the round. But if you're the ref, seeing his head snap back after that big left is hard to ignore.

  • @pmack169 Ali is far from the greatest hvwt ever. We know HE always said that. I would put 4 or 5 ahead of him. Joe Louis #1 to start.

  • Morrison was a terrific fighter.

Did a fine job in rocky 5 too. I wish him the best

  • I remember watching this fight! Everyone was screaming after that left hook!!! Even though I was rooting for Morrison, that was still a bad stoppage.

  • @Gutter1129 it was a great stoppage he was getting hit through his gaurd and was warned prior to defend himself better

  • @Cambria358 Yeah but then if you think about it, there was only a few seconds left in the round. I think they should've let it continue and see how well Ruddock recovered in the next round.

  • @truebeliever786 true true i didnt see the time

  • the only reason ruddick got up is because morrison didn't turn on that lh it was all arm. morrison may not have been the best ever, but he was the best in a long time.

how's that whole hiv thing going for him anyway??

dirty needles get you every time.

  • @pmack169 and it would have been nice to see what Chris Byrd would have done against Lennox Lewis, but we will never know now.

  • @pmack169 i was talking about Chris Byrd not John Ruiz. John Ruiz in my opinion was not as good as eveyone thought he was. And Michael Grant was way overhyped with the wins over Saverese and Golotta to fight Lewis. Grant was just a big dude like Lewis was and made for a better fight physically and finanically. Because Jameel McCline knocked out Grant in 43 seconds his next fight and McCline as big as he was didn't have the ability to go to the next level.

  • @pmack169 your comment to this guy, @MrRobhoran56 "Can you back that up with some actual EVIDENCE. u already proved u don't know what ur talking about by not knowing about the IBHOF. PROVE that Ruiz or Byrd where tougher than Grant or VKO". Your comment to somebody else I see tougher not dangerous here in this comment.

  • @pmack169 and I totally agree with, probably the smartest thing you ever said about boxing.

  • @pmack169 Oh now you want to fight? Your a joke and so are your boxing comments. Did I ever say Chris Byrd punches harder than VKO? Nope. But Chris Byrd did beat VKO. So who is better than who? In your past comments you think if a fight beats another fighter than they are better than that fighter. But not always the case tho. Just because Chris Byrd beat VKO doesn't mean he's a better fighter just means he was better that night. VKO body of work is better than Chris Byrd is all I am saying.

  • @pmack169 exactly my point you have no arguement especially after reading what you wrote about everyone else. God forbid someone knows about boxing more than you. Then you have to go to the stop goggling comments or to the stop reading box rec and watch the fights. I watched all those fights live when the happened unlike most of these people that want to comment on youtube about these fights. Like they know what they are talking about. Your a waste of time to even talk boxing with.

  • @pmack169 this is in response to your David Tua comment. Tua was a good fighter and both Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd beat him in the same fashion both won after a 12th round decision. You think just because a fighter is undefeated that they are dangerous? Really? Lou Savarese, Andrew Golota and Cory Sanders the biggest names Grant ever fought that you're calling dangerous? Then how dangerous was a 28-6 Oliver McCall when he TKO'd Lewis in the 5th? He must have been real dangerous. Lol.

  • @pmack169 now you are trying to back peddle in your statements one minute you say PROVE that Ruiz and Byrd are tougher than Grant or VKO. I reminded you that Byrd beat VKO, then you say VKO tore his rotator cuff and that's why he couldn't finish the fight and then retired. So where is the toughness? After reading your past comments a win is win regardless. It's not Byrd's fault VKO had to stop the fight due to injury, samething when Lewis opened up his eye and VKO had to have the fight stopped.

  • @pmack169 your statement PROVE that Ruiz or Byrd where tougher than Grant or VKO. Ah pmack169 didn't Chris Byrd beat VKO? So reading all your previous ignorant statements, wouldn't that make Chris Byrd better than VKO? Your arguements are weak you sound foolish and your the one that lacks basic knowledge of boxing history. I don't know why anybody even entertains your arguements. Get a clue

  • Comment removed

  • @pmack169 You try to sound like you think you know what your talking about with boxing, but it's just your opinion not fact. Listen it's apparent that you like Lennox Lewis real happy for you little guy, but don't make him seem like he was the greatest because he wasn't. Then you want to act like a tough guy, dude your on a computer talking smack to people. You sound like a woman arguing. Lol in your face. There I just proved you wrong.

  • @pmack169 arguing about fighters that don't even fight anymore is senseless. You sound foolish trying to argue like you know something about boxing. Just keep watching the sport and keep your comments to yourself. You sound ignorant going back and forth using profanity as well.

  • to that asshole who had to make this racial....ray mercer fucked up morrison....where was your WHITE POWER then you nazi!

  • Ruddock got robbed

  • HORRIBLE OFFICIATING!!!!! what are we in england

  • horrible officiating

  • Did carolla bring you here?

  • @replicas11 yes, Ace man did!!!!

  • bad ref

  • Man, that was a great fight.

  • How do you think these two would fair against new boxers like Chris Arreola? Techniques have changed a bit, these guys looked a little more in shape though.

  • This was a great heavy weight fight, and all you guys want to argue about other fighters???

  • When I saw this fight when it happened I thought the stoppage was premature but now, after seeing Ruddocks head snapped back by that last left hook and how he wasn't fighting back, I see how the referee was correct in stopping the fight. Sure it was almost at the end of the round but referees are watching the action so they can't go by when the round ends. I am amazed Ruddock got up from that first left hook. He had a lot of heart, great fight, too bad someone had to lose.

  • Boxing is not streetfighting. The verbal and personality exchanges are usually ridiculous with little connection to the actual sport. Lewis height and weight should have not seen him in the same ring as Tyson. Also, Tyson was an altogether different fighter even by his own standards after his beginning fights where he had losses. So totally pointless in bringing those up when comparing him to Lewis and others.

  • @pmack169 and it's not about John Ruiz and the rest of the fighters he didn't fight it's the fact that he didn't fight them because he was unsure about them and took an easier fight with Micheal Grant than a John Ruiz who was considered more dangerous and matched up better against Lennox Lewis and he knew it and didn't want to fight him and gave up his belt to not fight him. He could have fought Grant after Ruiz but Lewis had no Heart. And Tyson took his beatings like a man.

  • @pmack169 whoever said Tyson didn't duck Lewis? I think he had to give him one of his belts because of it when Lewis cried. But it's ok when Lewis gaves up his belt twice not to fight the #1 contender tho? Where was Lewis when Tyson was in his prime in the 90's? He was fighting Oliver McCalls. But don't compare Lewis as a great fighter when he ducked fighters & gave up belts. Admittingly saying, " I couldn't fighter every #1 contender and I gave up my belts to give other fighters a chance".

  • @MrRobhoran56 glass jaw hit. He had the opportunity to be a great but never took the opportunity to. Fighters like Foreman and Holmes fought way out their prime and were successful. Lewis knew fighters like the Klitscko's and Cory Sanders and the rest of the big heavyweights were out their and didn't want fight them tho. Oh but that's rite he avenged his only two losses to Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman who in my opinion he should have never lost to in the 1st place.

  • When's Holyfield's ear being inducted into the boxing hall of fame?

  • Look I'm not here to advocate that anyone take part in meeting complete strangers on youtube. Especially not engaging in strange acts with them. Such as Boxing, wrastling, or anything else that may seem bizare to a normal person. I'm only here because I love the sport of boxing. I did my fighting as an amateur. It was a positive outlet for me and I'm sure many others. I only care to engage in respectful discussions about boxing.

  • @pmack169 you and Peewee2000 deserve each other thinking Lennox Lewis is so great maybe you can get his e-mail and the two of you can spoon together watching you-tube videos of Lennox Lewis fights. Boxing sucks now anyway and it's now all MMA and the UFC. And please dude you wouldn't last five minutes with me. So keep talking to other people like your smart and intelligent with your conversations about business and the human race and don't write checks you can't cash. Later pussy.

  • @pmack169 the bottom line is Lennox Lewis gave up his belts instead of fighting the # 1 contender but cried when he was the # 1 contender and Bowe didn't want to fight him. That's a straight up coward and a fucking hypocrite doing the samething to other boxers that was done to him. You can sit there and make excuses all you want for Lennox Lewis the truth is he didn't want to fight them and gave up his belts not to. That's not a TRUE CHAMPION that's a fucking Bitch! ! E-mail you? Fuck You ! !

  • @pmack169 Lennox Lewis almost made it to the Hall of Fame two years ago? Key word almost. Now you and Peesmitty2000 can both dick ride on Lennox Lewis together! It's funny how you call me internet boy yet the both of you put videos and shit it up on your gay fucking webpages like anyone gives a fuck about either one of you. I already challenged Pee-wee2000 and like the the bitch he was he backed down. You want to go? You pick the spot and the time. But like the bitch you are you wont show solo!

  • @pmack169 If the two brothers fought you dumb fuck VKO would lose against his brother WKO. I forgot your the ignorant fuck that thinks if a fighter wins one fight or loses a fight to another then they are better than that fighter. Your probably the same guy who doesn't think Ali is the Greatest because he has more than 2 losses. Your that guy that thinks Lewis is a great fighter even when he fought Tyson and Holyfield out of their prime and lost to 2 suckers like McCall and Rahman.

  • "BIG LEFT HOOK!!!"

    I loved these matches!

  • That was a bad stoppage

  • @pmack169 Lewis was a good fighter not great like you and the rest of his fans think. Lennox Lewis retired before Mike Tyson and he is still waiting to get in the boxing Hall of Fame. Mike Tyson will be inducted in June. Why do you think that is? Because Lewis ran from more fighters than he should have fought.

  • @pmack169 now you want to compare Oliver McCall to Mike Tyson? Really? Now I know your fucking clueless. Tyson was a year younger than Lewis & when Tyson was a 21 year old kid & knocking everyone out. Where was Lewis? That's right he was fighting still in the amateurs fighting for Canada instead of England his so called home, waiting for the division to soften up. Lewis fought Tyson, after Tyson was washed up. If Oliver McCall was 23-0 & not 23-5 Lewis would have never fought him the 1st time.

  • @pmack169 Then you sit there and say, " Oh Lewis didn't have much time left he was 38 & getting old". Then why did he only fought once in 2002 and in 2003? And another thing Vitali isn't the better of the two Klitchko's. If Ruiz and Byrd were so terrible of fighters & Lewis could have easliy defeated them why would Lewis rather give up the belts than fight them if he could have easliy beat them? I can't wait to hear this bullshit excuse. I live in Long Island & would meet you anytime any place!

  • @pmack169 the bottom line is Lennox Lewis didn't want to fight John Ruiz & chose to give up his belt in order to fight Micheal Grant. Lewis was later stripped of his WBA title on April 29, 2000, due to his REFUSAL to fight John Ruiz. This coming from the same boxer who cried when Riddick Bowe didn't give him a title shot & Bowe lost his belt for ducking Lewis. But it's ok for Lewis to duck fighters tho right?

  • @pmack169 hey listen pussy I use my really name not like you and the rest of you fucking faggots that have to hide behind faggot ass fake names. Pmack? Dude please your a fucking clueless Lennox Lewis dick riding fan. Grant was more dangerous to who? Andrew Golota and Lou Salverese? Grant was a nobody that fought nobody. Oh that's right because he was undefeated he was a better opponent than John Ruiz and a better opportunity it duck the number 1 contender.

  • Great fight, quick stoppage.

  • @pmack169 Please your talking about a fighter who ducked more fighters then he should have fought and never gave fighters a rematch after he beat them. He got beat by Oliver "Crackhead" McCall, and then rematched him only 3 months out of re-hab and got knocked the fuck out by Hasim Rahman another great heavyweight right? Due get a fucking clue Lennox Lewis only fought fighters when it was the right time for him and retired so he didnt have to re-match Klitchko. Know your boxing BITCH ! ! !

  • @pmack169 it's fucking retards like you, who think they know what they are talking about when it comes to boxing but don't. Micheal Grant? LOL. Grant was a over hyped fighter that didn't fight anyone and got destroyed by Lennox Lewis. Grant this is the same fighter that got knocked out by Jameel McCline in 45 seconds his next fight. Wow a what a bigger better fighter he was he didn't want John Ruiz. the #1 contender at the time.

  • I don't know if it was because of partying or poor training, but Morrison's stamina was horrible,,, if he had better stamina he would've been a much better fighter. he had a vicious hook.

  • man i hate boxing for a lot of reasons rules,no kicks,no slams,no elbows ,a lot of more rules ,only basic punches it is not complexe!!!it is so limited!!!

  • 1:21 - C-C-C-C-C-COMBO-BREAKER!!!

  • @McD5791 LMAO!!! A killer Instinct reference. Good job!

  • Razor Ruddock was incredibly easy to TKO, but difficult to KO for real. He flailed like a ragdoll whenever he got hit with a big punch even if he was ok!

Refs would see him freaking out after getting hit, arms all over the place, legs all noodley, and they would stop the fight! He wasn't easy to hurt, but he always APPEARED to be hurt.

This happened the first time he fought Tyson. He got hit hard, his body flopped all over the place, and the ref ruled it a TKO even though he was fine!

  • @FSMNoodlyAppendage yep, everything you said there was spot on.

  • Morrison= Great fighter!

  • Both Morrison and Ruddock displayed a tremendous amount of heart in this epic battle. How on earth did Ruddock get up by the count of three after being dropped like that by Morrison's devastating trademark left hook? The average man would have woke up a week later. And, just when it looks like Morrison's about to fade miraculousy Morrison secures the tko victory! Bravo!!!

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Morisson, always showed lot of heart and he was a tremendous fighter. Never boring... and Ruddock was couragous to get up after the knock down.

  • "My main goal was to win all the belts, and I have done that. After you win all these belts, you cannot fight all these mandatory guys. You can just fight one man at a time. So, I gave my belts out to others to give them a chance."- Lennox Lewis Spoken like a true coward.

  • two great fighters. Immense physical talent on display. Morrison is not a big guy but has a very accurate hook, a very rare tool. Razor Ruddock had all the tools to survive with the 6'5"guys with the exception of a strong chin.

  • two great fighters. Immense physical talent on display. Morrison is not a big guy but has a very accurate hook, a very rare tool. Razor Ruddock had all the tools to survive with the 6'5"guys .

  • He was great I still think either he never had HIV or it was injected into him bc nobody wanted a white heavyweight champ

  • He was great I still think either he never had HIV or it was injected into him bc nobody wanted a white heavyweight champ

  • I love know nothing know it alls like lil robhoran56! Everyone is entitled to their opinion not their own facts. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings when I cracked an egg of knowledge all over your face. But, it had to be done. I'm not going to to let a d!ck worm like you spread lies on the internet. Not on my watch beeotch! If you can't be honest with others at least be honest to yourself. No body cares about your man crush on John Ruiz and the Klitscho brothers.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 I already told you 4-29-2000 Lewis was stripped of the WBA title for ducking #1 contender John Ruiz 9-5-2002 Lewis vacates IBF Title rather than fight mandatory IBF title match against Chris Byrd then 2-6-2004 Lennox Lewis announces his retirement and vacates WBC Title rather then fight Wladimir Klitschko. Man crush? Your the one sucking a cowards dick like Lennox Lewis you fucking homo. A boxer who clearly ducked more fighters and he should of fought you straight up bitch.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 I love when bitches like you write on the sites but yet can't address what you write to me so I can read it. You are such a fucking faggot. I already told you you can go to wikipedia, you can go on Boxrec, google it or go on any boxing web-site but you don't want to admit to it, you don't want to admit your boy ducked fighters like a bitch. Pee-Wee you are such a bitch just like your boy Lennox Lewis. That's why you talk all that shit on youtube but didn't address it to me tho?

  • @robhoran56 Since Lewis's WBC title wasn't vacated til after he retired. How do you figure he was stripped of it? Especially, since its hanging above his fire place. Boom roasted again! Had Lewis fought Ruiz, Byrd, and Vlad he would have beat them just like he beat everyone he ever faced. You'd be crying about something else I sure. To be honest I'm not a Lewis fan. I respect the man for what he accomplished. Tommy Morrison and the Rocky movies are why I boxed. Game, set, match!

  • @PeeSmitty2000 dude you are such an idiot it isn't even funny. It's just a waste to talk boxing with you because you know nothing. Your not a Lewis fan? All you do is stick up for the guy. Do you even read or look at the facts? Or are you just an ignorant fool? Boom roasted how? I go by facts unlike you, who just pulls shit and facts out of his ass. What did he accomplish? He ducked more fighters then he should of fought bottom line. You box? I would knock you the fuck out ! Anytime anyplace!

  • @robhoran56 Meet me at the jungle gym it's adjacent to the bike racks.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 exactly pussy.

  • Awesome fight. I watched it live and would have to put it as one of the most underrated bouts during the 90's. They were both great heavy weights in their time. They both had their flaws but had a battle to remember that night.

  • I love when people make comments on boxing and don't do their homework and then look foolish when they get the facts. Then you have guys like that pussy Pee-Wee2000 who don't respond back after they talk so much shit. Then you have guys like dooby510 who clearly knows nothing about boxing as well agreeing like either one is right. It's sad.

  • @robhoran56 When exactly was Lewis stripped of the IBF & WBC titles?

  • Both men showed heart in this one. I think Ruddock could've survived another 10 seconds and regained his senses in between rounds. He was in no more trouble than he ever was in his wars with Mike.

  • Ruddock poured his career into his two fights with tyson. BUT, this was a robbery. Bad standing 8 count call, and bad stoppage.

  • Muhammad Ali is the GOAT and would kick both their asses.

  • morrison to me is one of the best boxers of all time. he had one of the deadliest left hooks and uppercuts in boxing history....shame he never got to fight tyson, he would of tired tyson out and probably wrecked him in 5/6 round

  • @NIGHTSKYE1 There you go again talking shit! Tyson at his peak could go 12 rounds, that aside he'd of blown Morrison away, Morrison has never been in with anyone who was as fast as tyson, at his best Tyson rarely went looking for the one big bomb, usually just when he had you hurt. Tyson's fast power full combo's would of taken care of Morrison inside of 3 rounds, if Morrison's chin would of been better maybe he'd of lasted a bit longer, but it wasn't, it was weak, so Tyson inside 3 easy peasy!

  • @81Bourne 3 rounds....bollocks, i guarantee you tommy has a faster left hook than tyson, basically what your saying is that tommy has not got a full power combo like tyson?? i beg to differ i thinks he has a better power combo than tyson, study some of his fights, you blind cock.

  • @NIGHTSKYE1 I wouldn't comment if i hadn't studied him you ball sack! Your clearly a huge TM fan, and that's fine, im not disrespecting the man, but to say he had a faster left hook than Tyson is ridiculous, and it's even more ridiculous to say he'd of whipped Mike at his peak, at his best nobody even looked like beating Tyson, TM got ko'd afew times at his peak. If your gonna come out with that kind of comment you need to back it up!

  • @81Bourne i`m not a huge tm fan by any means, i`m not a tyson fan either, tm was known for his fast powerful left hook, and yes tm got knocked down,,guess what so did tyson , every boxer gets knocked on there ass now an then. but i reckon after studying tm and tyson fights, i personally think tm has a much better technique and is a more graceful fighter than tyson, tyson just ploughs in for the kill, don`t get me wrong tyson was 1 hell of a fighter, but his technique left a lot to be desired .

  • @NIGHTSKYE1 Each to there own i guess, but Tyson was more than just someone who ploughed in, he used to get on the inside of his opponents without getting hit, Tyson was only dropped after taking a considerable amount of punches, when he went down against holyfield that wasn't a genuine knock down, his balance was off & holyfield hit him on the pec. He was never dropped at his peak. Iv never heard anyone mention TM in the breathe as Tyson, & there is a reason behind that.

  • POW!! right in the kisser! Great left hook.

  • I can't beleive Rudduck got up...

  • Morrison is a warrior. What a nice clean left hook. Awesome fighter

  • Both of these guys were warriors. Neither was perfect, but that just made them just that much more fun to watch.

  • amazing power that we dont see anymore thanks for these videos it bring back alot of good memories

  • I love it when people who never stepped a foot into the ring call professional fighters like Morrison and Ruddock bums. Both Morrison and Ruddock were top contenders. The 90's were the last decent era of heavyweight boxing. The only great fighter from that era was Lennox Lewis. Anybody who slightly understands boxing knows that.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Lennox Lewis was the only heavyweight champion who was stripped of every version of the title for refusing to fight the #1 contender: WBA-John Ruiz, IBF-Chris Byrd, WBC-Vlad Klitschko. He also ducked Michael Moorer, George Foreman, Tim Witherspoon, Corrie Sanders and Roy Jones Jr who offered Lennox Lewis alot of money to fight. So if Lennox Lewis was the only great fighter from that era like you say he is, why did he duck so many people? He's got the heart of a fucking goldfish.

  • @robhoran56 I never really put much stock into the alphabet soup of championships and it amazes me that anyone ever did. These corrupt organizations along with Bob Arum and Don King are the reason why boxing is dead. Arum, King, and these corrupt organizations only cared about one thing. Money. Lewis beat the better Klitschko anyways. What else does he have to prove to you? Does he have to beat up Grandma and Grandpa Klitschko too? Stop hating on the man and just face the facts.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 ok it's obvious you haven't a clue about boxing or what your talking about nobody is hating on Lewis. You need to face the facts and it's simple Lennox Lewis didn't fight these #1 contenders and gave up his belts because he was a coward. And Vitali is not the better of the 2 klitschko brothers go check the stats.

  • @robhoran56 Apparently you're the undisputed champion of Lennox Lewis haters! Here are some actual facts for you guy. Along with Muhammad Ali, Holyfield, Vitali Klitschko and Michael Moorer, Lewis is one of only five boxers in history to have won the heavyweight championship three times. More facts...Gene Tunney, Rocky Marciano, and Lennox Lewis are the only world heavyweight champions to have retired with no unavenged defeats. Who did John Ruiz beat to become ranked #1?

  • @PeeSmitty2000 hey those are all great facts on Lennox Lewis you stated that any boxing fan knows or can pull up off the computer. But it's still funny how you haven't made one valid arguement about him giving up those belts to fight lesser opponents. The truth is he didn't want to fight them that's the bottom line. No matter what you say. And who gives a fuck on who John Ruiz beat to become ranked #1 he sucked anyway. The bottom line is Lennox Lewis is a coward. Peace out Pee-Wee

  • @robhoran56 The correct answer is: John Ruiz didn't beat anyone to become the #1 WBA heavyweight contender. The WBA mysteriously ordered Lewis to defend the title against obscure Don King fighter Ruiz. Rather than face Ruiz in a commercially unattractive bout, Lewis elected to instead fight Michael Grant, a more worthy opponent by many people's estimate. In doing so, Lewis forfeited the WBA title. When exactly was Lewis stripped of the IBF & WBC titles? Class is dismissed. Boom roasted!

  • @PeeSmitty2000

    Amen brother

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Fagget gay ass motherfucker u forgot 1 Name Mike tyson it dosent matter if he was out hes prime he was still good.. Fagget

  • @BunBRIP I never said Tyson wasn't good. I said he wasn't great due to the fact he was 1 dimensional. Yes, I'm a motherfucker but I'm not interested if your asking me out on a date. However, I'm not here to judge. I hope you find the guy you're looking for.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Ha, Ha, Ha, thanks for the laughing !

  • @PeeSmitty2000 10-4 man

  • @PeeSmitty2000 You mean Lennox Lewis was the best Heavyweights the boxing world had to offer in that era. He was not the greatest boxer in the 90's that's for sure, but he is one of them.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Not even the ring... People forget when watching a fight, that those are real punches. ten rounds of getting punched in the god-damned face, That is the task these men wake up to. Both of these guys were destroyers. Tommy Boy could march through every man in your family, one after another without a break and you call him a bum?

  • @Metalalified I've never called Morrison or any fighter a bum. Perhaps you should have your eyes checked by an optometrist. That was sarcasm homie.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 What do you mean the 90s was the last decent era?? Simply because the fact american boxers are owned these days, and whenever losing you make up excuses??

  • @1986SoWhat Boxing is on life support if not already dead. American athletes go where the money is and right now it's in mma. America took a primitive sport invented in the United Kingdom and made it into an art form. Let's not forget that. R.I.P boxing (1900-2004). You will be forever missed.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 Are you sure about that..? Vitali Klitschko gets paid in euros, this saturday he earned what is about the same as 15 million us dollars. Even the cuban he wasted in the first round got about 2 mill.. What MMA competitor makes that kind of money a match?? Kimbo got 500K and Brock Lessnar not that much more. Boxers are by fare the best paid fighters in the world and there are more money than ever.

  • @1986SoWhat Yes, I'm still sure about that. The only reason V.Klitschko made so much euros is because Klitschko is the only recognizable name in the heavyweight division plus he fought in Germany. The Germans also pay good euros to see David Hasselhoff live and in concert. So, what does that tell you? "Klitschko wasted his Cuban opponent." Are you sure about that?? Did you even watch the fight? Klitschko vs Solis only further proves my point. Boxing died when Lennox Lewis retired.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 No i did not see it, only what i heard. But there are more money in boxing than MMA regardless of what you think of it. Plenty of recognizable names like Samuel Peter, Chagaev, Maskaev etc. Boxing will never die, good thing King is only a puppet now or he might have killed though.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 I missed those great fights Is going to be hard to see the kind of heart, love for the sport

  • @PeeSmitty2000 A sharp left hook works all the time. I was glad to see Razor go because I didn't think he was all that - just big.

I think Bowe was making a name for himself at this time though.

  • @949galaxy Lennox Lewis haunts Riddick Bowe just like Lewis haunts the Klitschko bros. Vitali couldn't beat Lewis and Wladimir wasn't good enough to fight Lewis at that time. Bowe was very talented I couldn't agree with you more but Bowe never showed any desire to fight Lewis at all. Bowe vs Lewis could have possibly been a fight for the ages. I would have gladly paid $50 to see that. At least Razor had the heart to step into the professinal ring with the best there was Lennox Lewis.

  • @PeeSmitty2000 - agree with everything you said but calling lewis a great figher.. a very good fighter and I respect him .. but his biggest wins came against fighters who were shot based on the years and the wars they were previously involved in .. tyson and holyfield were shells of who they used to be by the time lewis fought them .. Lewis had such a boring style..he was to afraid of getting hit for my taste & the moment a fighter got within reach he would start hugging them

  • @markdrew3535 I agree. Some of Lewis's fights were about as exciting as watching grass grow. But, who else beat both Holyfield and Tyson?

  • 1:29 - 1:33 he looks like a chocolate covered east indian.
