This is usually played on WHYY in Philly several times during the holiday season. Usually during a fund drive. For a $60 contribution, you get a dvd of this program. The TV listings show it being broadcast again on WHYY at 7:30 PM EST on 12/24/2010.
absolutely love this video!! my brother and I watched it just like we did when we were kids!!! I don't understand why it isn't shown every year just like Rudolph and Frosty and Charlie Brown and all the other classics....
I actually have my DVR set to record this. They should be showing this on WHYY at 2:30 Monday morning. It's a shame they don't show it when people are actually awake! Keep your eye out for it!
I have looked for this for years. Rarely shown on TV anymore. It brings back fond memories of The Sisters playing this movie along with the marioneete version of The Nativity, at catechism every year. We were given a box of hard candy along with the treat of watching the two short vignettes. GREAT MEMORIES!! Thank you so much 925apte!!
thanks so much for posting this, i have a warm heart and tears in my eyes remembering watching this with my family as a child. your right fogbeet there was also the birth of baby jesus. once again thanks so much.
so nostalgic-thanks alot! I've wanted to see this since...the sixties? No one seems to remember it! there was also a story of the birth of Jesus done by them.
What a sweet and fun memory from the past!

We're showing our age, but I remember this too. We looked forward every year to watch this and were amazed at how "high tech" it was.

They showed this even when I was a kid in the early-to-mid 1990s. I never thought I'd see it again. Thank you for posting this.
Happy Christmas to ALL, and to ALL a GOOD NIGHT!
