i opened an account on bank of America on February 2008. I deposited 500 dollars cash. they gave me a temporary ATM card. after few days i tried to with draw money from a ATM machine and it said funds not available (or some thing. it didn't gave me the money). i went to the bank and asked what was wrong and they said they closed my account because my activities were suspicious ?? What the HECK that mean ?? when i call they say they cannot give the reason why they rejected me. WHAT ?? U suck
As an Ex employee that worked for these bastards. They charge the $6.00 fee to force ppl to open an account. I used to be a teller & my goal was to do that. Tell customers to put there tumb print on the check, sign & get there id. If they refused I had to presuade the "non customer" to open an account" if i didnt do so. I would get in trouble with my manager & i could get written up for not following policy. Here is a solution deposit your check to your own bank. The $6 may come in handy

At this moment they outsource to a third entity (yes I used to work for that entity). Be very careful with your information as that entity has severe issues with compliance with federal regulations (yes they've been sued by employees and shareholders alike). I was "let go" because I refused to go along, they are frightening.
