When people talk abt specific laws in shariah what they miss is that those laws are only applicable to a islamic country and only to a population that wants those laws.
Shariah also covers things like prayer, fasting and many other spiritual things.

Hey folks - Muslims are not a race or ethnic group. Muslims comprise most every nationality across the globe, not just "brown people" Zomg.
A Muslim is nothing more than follower of Islam. If you read Umdat al-Salik a codified Islamic text of Islamic Law you will see Shariah is 25% religious ritual and 75% politics. It is the politics we have issues with.
