If Fedor is afraid to join the UFC and the UFC is home of the best fighters, than there are alot of fighters that don't belong there. I've seen so many fights on the UFC that were a total yawn. Great fighters don't dance and toy around, they don't just stand there. A great fighter is an executor. They make it happen and don't make excuses. Fedor was never invincible. I've always been afraid he'd lose in every fight because that's how MMA is. UFC needs more fighters like Fedor.

Anybody could make a mistake and lose a fight. The cage bounced Fedor back into Werdum for a stronger position on the triangle / armbar, this would never of happened if it was in a ring. This is a crucial moment for Fedor, he must win his next fight convincingly in order to have any bargaining power with the UFC. There is only one other person that is happier than Werdum and that person is Dana White, he just saved himself millions of dollars as a result of that win.

Fedor is a great fighter but i dont see why anyone would say hes the best; he doesnt fight the best fighters and he keeps ducking out of offers from the UFC. The UFC is the biggest MMA organisation and mostly contains the best fighters. Dana White said he offered fedor the best contract he's ever offered a fighter but he turned it down, there is no way strikeforce could afford to match or beat that offer. @st3v34uk Fedor turned down UFC offer because UFC woudn't let him fight on Sambo fights in Russia. That was the only issue for Fedor. UFC wants exclusive contract but Fedor wants some freedom to fight amatuer Sambo fights in Russia. This proves Fedor doesn't get moved by money.

Plus, those UFC fighters could have left UFC if they really wanted to face Fedor, but they didn't. In a sense, UFC fighters avoid Fedor. Please keep in mind this fact.

Also, the submission Werdum used, is a double whammy. Any time you have a choke and arm bar sunk in, you win. The only way to get out of that hold is the person in the double lock needs to be strong enough to pick their opponent up with 1 arm and from a 100% full squat position. If you can do that, you can slam your opponent to victory because they (the grappler) have Zero means to protect the back of their skull from the impact. Their hands and legs are committed. Let go or lose time via K.O.
