Because then Merlin would have to tell his secret and he can not. Not that he doesn’t trust Arthur but if he does Arthur would have to chose between his father and him.

Merlin has so much to carry and I pretty sure next season he going to explode.

Thanks for the great video I was looking for inspiration for a story I was writing with Merlin and Arthur angst story. This video showed just the right Angst I needed to s write the scene.

And you're right, sometimes Merlin does feel all alone even if he's surrounded by a lots of ppl that care for him, but they just don't understand him. The one person who could have done that was Morgana, but im afraid this would never fo further.

Oh my GOD that was brilliant!

You really did sum it up in one sentence. I feel so bad for Merlin b/c even though he surrounds by plp he cares about no one knows his secret which make it a hard burden to carry. I mean yes Gaius might know about Merlin magic but even he can't understand the suffering that Merlin had go through everyday.

I love the last episode of Season 2 it shows that Arthur wants to be friends w/ Merlin and Merlin wants him to be his friend too. However they can't be...
