Wow, the pilot envy sure is coming out .. but yeah, even as a pilot I can't stand dumbass cockpits that can't get it together on the radio. I can tell you that if you've done some serious aviating around the globe (as I continue to do for a living) you'll find many FIRs where the pilots are a breath of fresh air compared to the controllers. But not in the USA and generally not in western Europe - our controllers (USA) are the best on the planet (together with some of the western European FIRs).
