What could happen, we have a massive solar flare and the earth's polar shift occurs along the same week. That would be interesting. Though occurred to me last summer in an aviation class. Poles are over due in shifting N becoming S and S becoming N. During the polar swap, the earths magnetic protection is no longer functioning normally and diminished greatly in any protection. So, there's a chance we get shot by a flare at the same time polar shift occurs. That would be interesting.
