Thanx! Yeah the opti's are awesome. I'm using a stock alt (140 amps). I'm gettin' 2 more of these subs in the spring and another opti2000d for 'em. I'll be upgrading the alt as well.

do you just have the battery hook up to the amp or is your car battery hook up to your battery and then to the amp ?

My power cable runs from my car batt to a power block then to my extra batt then to my amp. Then just ground the extra batt and its good to go.
