Seeing as they didn't really answer your question to type japanese on your keyboard just open your language bar (I'm assuming you have windows) click settings and add the japanese language. From there when you go to a field of text you'll see an A in the language bar click it and choose either Hirigan or Katakana and type in japanese. They keyboard is layed out in equivalent sounds. (When you type with it you'll see. Just try typing no once you get it working)
