This is so delicate, i love it. You know John Martyn was a friend of Nick Drake? Martyn actually dedicated the title track Solid Air (1973) to Nick Drake.

This tune takes me to another place. Were I to compare its simplicity to anything it would be Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea". Fabulous imagery without fancy rhetoric but wonderful images.
