They made a big promotion and ads for this film. Well, I like it but it wasn't as touching as A Walk To Remember (2002), The Notebook (2004), The Painted Veil (2006), P.S. I Love You (2007) etc. Not even close. It seems to me that they missed a lot of the things but I was impressed by Channing Tatum's acting. He deserves such serious roles. Richard Jenkins was brilliant too

i am curious when americans finally get it that WAR sucks, and seperates people and does not do any good what so ever!
you don't protect your country...all you do is kill, hurt and seperate! all the soliders from iraq came home with a trauma!
if you want to protect your country, do it in your own and don't kill others because you think its for your safety because it isn't!
War sucks and will always suck, and it is nothing you have to do...it Kills, Hurts and Septerates...thats all it does!
