To anyone saying the colors are washed, I have read many reviews saying this thing needs to be tweaked in the settings to get the best picture. The default settings are incorrect I guess.

in the beginning of the video, your computer stopped as a cursor kinda flashed before windows booted up, if I remember correctly, that's because 'boot from cd/dvd' was enabled first, and that was that trying to start up. I think if you set your hard drive as the priority for now, it would be faster/

@Flaky80 Not my experience at all. Had it for almost a year. Still going strong, nice picture, have seen some really good price points for these over these 11 months where I wouldn't have hesitated to buy another. Already have 3 monitors, so no need for anymore.

iv been trying to conect this monitor to my toshiba laptop and it says no signal, i have the vga corde conected but still nothing, when i turn on the monitor the power light is blue but then it turn yellow/orange, anyone know what might be wrong?

@soccerjoker95 Assuming you're asking how, right click the bottom toolbar, and uncheck Lock the Taskbar. Then put your mouse over the top of the toolbar, the cursor should change, grab it and adjust.

If you're wanting me to rework the video with a smaller toolbar, maybe if their is ever a next video on this monitor.

No speakers. I like mine fine, depends completely on the price. I personally have no problems with Acer, would look for Dell or HP if you do.

Built in speakers on monitors are generally crap quality. One of the monitors I have has a pair, but I don't even use them. It's better to invest in a quality sound system.

@JasonMediaCenter I play Battlefield Bad Company 2 on it and have noticed no issues relating to lower framerate. I believe it is 5ms response time which in my opinion is plenty for everyone but the hardest of the hardcore gamers.

@Laquun Nope I use my DVI port for the main monitor. Have 3 monitors setup so I can run Eyefinity. Makes me sick when I do, so I don't use it. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.

@maximelecool -- I like it a lot, no problems minus when using the HDMI port maybe once a week the monitor wouldn't wake up after going to sleep. Presumably could be a problem on the Graphics card HDMI port though. Sort of wished I would've waited a few months and saved $70. I don't think the picture on the higher end monitors is worth the cost, but if reliability is top concern, they are perhaps worth it.

@JasonMediaCenter obviously you wouldn't get the same quality but you can do it, not same quality though because of course you changed how many pixels there are in the area of the monitor, so it would be a bit more blurry

@Graphicspittz187 I'm not a fan of the glossy screen because of it causing glare. Not sure if the matte screen is the reason for the dull look, camera, brightness,etc
