You ever think about the fact that the Devil in Christianity was Lucifer the Lightbringer? Supposedly he was cast into darkness, but that doesn't mean he stopped bringing light to the world. I think it's perfectly sensible to say that such determination is just as worthy of worship as the supposed benevolence of YHVH.
