  • @LDS4Life71 So where were the three Nephites of the book of mormon tale during this melt down. Were they not ordained to administer the Gospel of Jesus while never tasting death ? Remaining mute during the supposed "Great apostasy" ?

  • Actors Share Nativity Experiences With Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos

    December 8, 2011

  • What would it be like to witness firsthand the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ? Actors who took part in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' (Mormon) Life of Jesus Christ Bible Videos project had this opportunity, if only in a vicarious way.

  • My mother and father were only a generation removed from the pioneers who journeyed across the vast plains of America's heartland to settle in the valleys of the Mountain West. After my father graduated from the George Washington University Law School, the Great Depression drew my parents back to Utah, where he was fortunate to find work in a number of legal capacities in the Southern part of the state.

  • I cannot remember a time when I did not believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in the restoration of its fullness in our day, and in the central role the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints plays in proclaiming the "good news."

  • Even as a child, I did not see the practices and beliefs that constitute Mormonism as an imposition, but as the unfolding of "who I was" in the meaningful and purposeful World that God created for all of his children. The gospel was an invitation for me to fulfill my potential.

  • Confused by inaccurate representations, unique practices and common stereotypes surrounding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- also known as the Mormon Church -- some people don't realize its members are Christians first and foremost.

This is one of the first points Bryan Saxon, active church member and vocal performance senior, made when explaining the key beliefs of the church.

  • Saxon serves as elders quorum president for the Baton Rouge Young Single Adult ward, or congregation, that includes the LDS Community Center on Dalrymple Drive.

  • i gotta call bullshit on this one guys..

  • @TheKantrius I realize in your world that PROFANITY is common place. However, we are Mormons and as such we try and keep EVERY THING we do family friendly. In fact we worship a God who says, "suffer the children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of heaven".

Refrain from ALL vulgarity and PROFANITY when doing anything associated with Mormons.

  • @omiolo Yah right! Refrain from vulgarity and profantity? Joseph smith was a sexual deviant interested in young woman who he coerced into relationships and marriage through threats. This is recorded FACT. "LYING FOR THE LORD: ... another well documented mormon tactic and doctrine... how shameful is that? You probably are not even aware of that well practiced mormon doctrine... fraud, counterfitting and murder were all practiced by mormon founders this recorded history. FUCK YOU LDS ASS!!

  • @1overthehillsfaraway You were warned yet you continued. You will be banned. Feel free to return when you can act like an adult.

  • @omiolo to make a long story short, u mormons are boring and suck ass

  • And that tells you all you need to know about anti-Mormonism in America right now: It's a prejudice you can get away with. You can't be openly racist, sexist, or anti-Semitic. But anti-Mormon? Go for it.

  • Joseph Smith and all the rest of your "prophets" are a fraud.

  • You Brainwashed Mormons all need to wake up! When are you going to realize prophets were gone long ago and the Gospel was fulfilled in the New Testament through Jesus Christ? (Hebrews 1:1) " For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 3-11).

  • On Jan. 23, Laura was kidnapped by a member of a local cartel and never returned to her Juarez home. Her case is one of hundreds of cases of people who everyday are kidnapped or killed by the increasing violence that affects this northern city in Mexico.

Since 2009, many people continue to encounter challenging living conditions with waves of violence striking ever more closely against the inhabitants of Juarez and El Paso, Texas.

  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced plans today to construct a new state-of-the art building at the center of the Missionary Training Center (MTC) campus in Provo, Utah. The new building will replace the Melvin J. Ballard Building, which will be demolished as part of the construction process.

  • Most other genealogical Facebook applications are based only on your living family and at best can connect you with third or fourth cousins. The Relative Finder app goes back an average of nine or ten generations because it connects to the genealogical information BYU obtained for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

  • Many people already know the joy of discovering their ancestors, and now a new app by BYU students takes it to the next level - finding which of your Facebook friends are also family.

The group of computer science students developed a Facebook app called "Relative Finder."

  • Three years ago, I moved from Utah to Minnesota, where I am an active Mormon. Because of the Broadway play, I have had many non-Mormons ask me about being a Mormon and what we believe. The words of the play's song "I Believe" states what we do believe: "I believe that the Lord God created the universe. I believe that he sent his only son to die for my sins. And I believe that ancient Jews built boats and sailed to America. I am a Mormon."

  • While preparing some talks I'm giving on New Media, I was struck with a realization: the two fastest growing religious groups in our country are also the two with the strongest online presence-Mormonism and Atheism. I'll save Atheism and its aggressive new media evangelism for another day, but right now I'll focus on Mormonism.

  • Thousands of volunteers across the country and perhaps around the world are helping preserve Jackson County's historic documents.

After signing a contract with the county in January, FamilySearch, a nonprofit organization funded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, began scanning every county marriage record between 1855 and 1950. It finished at the end of June.

  • There's nothing like quality time with the author to give a work of art a fresh face.

    And Rhett won me over.

I now think Lucy Harris has gotten a bad rap.

  • Inside the Glines Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Gurr's friends, relatives and mentors remembered him as a dedicated leader who made time for anyone who was in need or lonely.

  • "He hasn't just casually said, 'Does anyone need help?' He has sought opportunities to serve, and he said it gives him purpose each day," Forester said.

Forester, who is a leader in the local Mormon church, said Smith has helped volunteers there as well. And his work stands out, even among the many volunteers who have come from all over the country to help put Tuscaloosa back together.

  • Bracknell Forest's deputy mayor, town mayor and Sandhurst town mayor attended a ward conference at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints.

Around 150 guests also attended the conference at the church in Hanworth on Sunday, July 17, which had the theme of 'never suppress a generous thought'.

  • @omiolo You're the Bart Simpson of Mormonism. You have to type in all this Mormon soap opera stuff as penance for all those bad things you did in your past life. hahahaha

  • @IExposeMormonism "You're the Bart Simpson of Mormonism."

At least you used 'you're' correctly instead of your. IMPROVEMENT.

  • @omiolo Thanks so much. Another free-be is their there they're. Of course if I made as many mistakes in spelling as Joe made with the Abraham Papyrus I'd be called a Mormon Prophet!

  • @IExposeMormonism "free-be is their there they're"

    Hillbilly talk?

  • @omiolo Desperate characters like yourself always fall back on spelling errors, I was trying to help you with a couple of easy ones. Of course the easiest ones are in the peculiar Abraham Papyrus translation. shouldn't you be focused on your penance, type in those "Morsoap's", Bart Simpson.

  • @IExposeMormonism "fall back on spelling errors"

Hillbilly talk is a spelling error? Is that what Uncle Jed told you?

  • @omiolo Oh, ok, you win. But it just seems if you could pick up on these errors you could put 2+2 together with the Abraham papyrus. which is 100% error ridden.

  • @IExposeMormonism "Oh, ok, you win"

    It is a contest?

  • @omiolo No, it's a struggle for the truth, you're going off on spelling. I win with truth, you win on spelling.

  • @IExposeMormonism "it's a struggle for the truth"

Yes, one side wants to HIDE the truth and the other side wants it to come out.

  • @omiolo Well, we agree... Expose:: To make obvious, to shine a light on something, like darkness, to bring to light, to draw back on curtain on something concealed. To reveal truth.

  • @IExposeMormonism "Well, we agree"

Even in trying to be AGREEABLE, you are dishonest.

  • @IExposeMormonism Please answer honestly. Have you ever in your life prayed sincerely to your Father in Heaven to know that the Book of Mormon is true?

  • @drummer703 I'm past praying. I look at hard reality. This isn't an issue like "was Jesus a virgin" to which Christians say yes and Mormons say no, he was a polygamist with many children. Maybe you should pray about polygamous Jesus. I like the established 2000 year story of Jesus. Not the Merovingian nightmare.

  • @IExposeMormonism all that other stuff does not matter. I'm asking if you have ever prayed and asked God Himself to know that the Book of Mormon is true. Have you?

  • @drummer703 No. and I'm not going to. God would kick my butt if I asked him that. We both know it's not true.

  • @IExposeMormonism God does not get mad at His children for asking Him about the truth of things. The Bible says that God "upbraideth not,"(James 1:5) which means He will find no fault in our asking. I invite you to trust in God and ask Him if the Book of Mormon is true. I testify and promise in the name of Jesus Christ that He will let you know that it is true. But don't take MY word on that, ask God Himself in sincere prayer.

  • @drummer703 Mormonism is The Double Bind Theory. Gregory Bateson, research it. If I pray I have only one option according to you, I will be given a warm heart and a sense of truth. The obvious implication being If I pray and discover Mormonism is Wrong then I'm shit on a stick with Mormon god. I'm going to stick with the monotheistic God w/o a wife and the monogamous Jesus and monotheistic Jesus. Maybe you should pray to that Jesus-God too.

  • @IExposeMormonism research will give you only worldly answers. I am simply inviting you to seek divine answers from God Himself. Don't trust any man (including reasearch), trust God. I promise you that He will answer your prayer as He has answered mine.

  • @drummer703 I don't trust any man, especially the liar Joseph Smith. Does it concern you Joseph Smith used Jewish Kaballah and other occult practices? Does the use of old white hats, pet rocks and funny glasses proclaimed divine make them so? why don't you use them? Does proclaiming 2000 yrs of Christianity "anathema", a polygamy revelation nullifying all non Mormon marriages and contracts and threatening death to wives, does that concern you? Pray to God about those things.

  • @IExposeMormonism there are many false things you may hear or research about the LDS church, but none of it matters, nor is it true. People spread lies about Jesus Christ too. Pray to God to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet just like Moses, or Noah, or any of the other prophets we read about. Don't trust the so-called research, trust God.

  • @drummer703 There are many false things you Mormons teach about other religions and history as well. For instance you teach that the Catholic church fell into apostate and that the Native Americans are Jewish.

  • @SenorZacito no, they are of the "house of Isreal." They're not jewish because they are not decendants of Judah. Get your facts correct and quit talking when you don't know what you're talking about

  • @drummer703 Wait, they are of the house of Israel and are not Jewish? Please explain, how you are of the house of Israel and not Jewish. How do you also explain the language of reformed Egyptian which never existed? My intention is not to put down the Mormon people, but just have them stop preaching ignorance

  • @SenorZacito ingnorance? look who talking. and may i remind you that this is about "faith." "We walk by faith, not by sight." -2 Corinthians 5:7.

The jews are decendants of Judah. The people in the Book of Mormon are decendants of Joseph. Both are of the House of Isreal because they both decend from Jacob who is the son of Isaac who was the son of Abraham.

  • @drummer703 Amen this is about faith my brother but we should not change the teachings of the apostles. In Saint Paul's letter to the Galatians (Gal1:8) But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema." Mormons changed the theology of Christianity,. You are not following a gospel not preach by any apostle. The gospel you preach is of Joseph Smith. Even if a revelation came to him.

  • @drummer703 You are saying that they are related that is my point. If you go to the Mormon website they have paintings of white Native Americans around architecture that appears to be Mayan. That is the most ignorant painting I have every seen in my life. Mormons also use to believe that African Americans were black because they were cursed, although you currently changed that one because "God told your prophet to change it. Why was the Mormon god racist up until recently.

  • @drummer703 Again I hope none of previous comments offended you, do not take my disagreement as disrespect. Jesus teaches us to never hate each other. I love all my brothers and sisters of different religions, but I will respectful stand up for the truth.

  • @IExposeMormonism What about Mormons teaching that Native Americans are really Jews. They also claim the book of Mormon was written in reformed Egyptian which is not a real language, and they have no proof. I am all for freedom of religion but when they lie to the masses and change history then it takes people like us to stand up and ask them to stop lying

  • @SenorZacito I've suggested to Mormons to study Real Egyptian and the Abraham Papyrus. If JS couldn't translate Real Egyptian, if he was 1600+Yrs in error on the date, how the F could he translate Reformed Egyptian for which not a scintilla of evidence exists. Mormons need to become educated outside of their tyrannical despotic priestcraft hierarchy. It's not that hard to find these truths. But you must stop being spoon fed such crap

  • @IExposeMormonism I am not Mormon. What do you mean you must stop spoon fed such crap?

  • @SenorZacito could you clarify that sentence? I'm not Mormon, I expose the lies in Mormonism. Very time consuming. My camera memory chip is on the fritz, that's why I haven't posted anything on Mormonism of late

  • @IExposeMormonism I did not understand what you meant in the previous message. "But you must stop being spoon fed such crap" I did not understand what that meant that is why I am asking. I also wanted to clarify that I am not a Mormon

  • @SenorZacito Seems to be some confusion. I must have meant to type in ":They must stop being fed crap". I didn't look at all the comments, So I guess I mistyped.

  • @IExposeMormonism Keep preaching to the Mormons and maybe one day they will understand. But we must also understand this religion is part of their culture, and must attempt to present them with the truth gently and with kindness. We must make them see we are not attacking them as people just the false teachings and beliefs of their religion

  • @drummer703 What if I pray every night and God tells me that the Mormon church is not the true church?

  • Civic leaders visit Church of the Latter-day Saints

  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will be holding a Porterville Emergency Preparedness Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the LDS Church, 1164 N. Newcomb Street.

  • It included parades, of course, but also concerts, monument dedications, reunions, dances and fireworks, among other things.

The Jubilee capped an odyssey that transformed the Mormon's "Land of Zion" in just five decades from a wilderness haven for Latter-day Saints into a teeming crossroads sprouting a diversity of religions, as well as educational and business opportunities.

  • For five days in July that year, Mormons hosted the nation -- the same nation they had fled 50 years earlier seeking freedom from persecution -- in a coming-out party for the new 45th state.

"This is Utah's first branding exercise. It was 'What can we do to show ourselves to the world?' " said Richard Turley, historian for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. "In 1897, the Pioneer Day [commemoration] was much more than a parade. It was the Utah World's Fair."

  • Girls donned bonnets and prairie skirts while boys wore suspenders and straw hats as they re-enacted the treacherous trek Mormon pioneers made out West from 1846 to 1869. Faced with religious and political persecution, about 70,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) migrated across a 1,300-mile trail through five states to settle in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah.

  • On a recent Friday night when their peers were probably hanging out at the mall or posting on Facebook, some 150 Mormon teens pulled 10,400-pound covered handcarts for seven miles through Connecticut's Mohawk State Forest.

  • @Cheshu1 ignores a very important event in the Bible that can easily explain how "they [got] to Israel." As a matter of fact, it was a boat & was called The Ark. 8 people lived in it for over a year. I think most of us Christians will agree that the flood was over the "entire earth". From what I understand there is a generally accepted location as to where the Ark landed, but can Cheshu say with any degree of certainty where it started? I think he needs to back off the Monopoly money comment.

  • Amun ra

  • The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible and is a record of God's dealings with His chosen people in the New World. The main purpose of the Book of Mormon is "to the convincing of Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations." (Book of Mormon Title Page) It was written by ancient American prophets for our day (Mormon 8:35) and is an American testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @Cheshu1 Dont know if you have seen it yet, but South Park did an interesting take "all about the Mormons" in season 7. was quite humorous, at the end the Mormon kid gainsays "I dont care what people think, the religion of Joseph Smith works for me...so suck my balls" LOL!

  • @Cheshu1 Us Mormons can't wait for the LORD to return and all anti mormon liars, like you, will be hewn down and cast into the fire.

You gotta love that. So take your rhetoric and stick it where the sun don't shine.

  • @Cheshu1 Because it is, goofy! There is literal proof still standing today as an altar made by Adam and it's carbon dating is a match. Sorry you don't get the monopoly money. We are the Latter Day Saints, and the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints' is the true church of God.

The church owns the land where that specific altar is.

  • @LDS4Life71---ok answer me this smart guy, how did King James translation errors get themselve onto brass plates since we know that the King James version came to us in 1611? So how did those errors get themselves into Joe's storybook if you say he didnt copy the KJV Bible?-- i.e, in 2 Nephi 14:5 (Isa 4:5) The correct translation of the Hebrew "Chuppah" is "canopy," not "defense." and in 2 Nephi 15:25 (Isa 5:25). The correct translation of the Hebrew "cuwchah" is "filth," not "torn." in the KJV

  • @rypaul5217 Well for one, Lehi and his family brought with them a bunch of the word from the holy prophets that lived in Jerusalem with them in the form of the brass plates. If you would actually take the time to read the book of Mormon instead of being the court Jester for Youtube you would learn something.

  • The White God Quetzalcoatl

By Joseph Allen.... taken from his book "Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon"

And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them.... (3 Nephi 11:8)

  • @LDS4Life71 Joseph's novel is a false Christ story. its only about a life destroying ghost in such and such darkness saying behold behold behold well this doesnt even sound like Jesus..behold the city I have destroyed blah blah blah, have I sunk in the sea,,,,behold blah blah, blah is such YUK let me tell you!

Smith was also good at coping the King James Bible, 216 verses even the KJV translation errors those verses he copied, now how did they get themselves into his book?

  • @Rypaul5217 Joseph didn't write it, but he translated it, and you are just a jealous anti mormon.

    LOL

too bad troll anti mormons will be sent to hell.

  • @LDS4Life71 You are only condemning yourself to that aweful fate. Jesus died for us and is my Lord and Savior once and forever, so who are you? Moreover, our tactics is the demeanor of persuasion, it is to reason with proof, and our arguments are based upon history and documentation about what is really behind the curtain. so your blowing a big green wizard head with fire and smoke, doesnt do you justice.

  • @Cheshu1 Ummm you are completely clueless.

Like I said, ANYONE that wants to see a REAL map of the book of Mormon lands, JUST ASK ME.

  • If anyone wants to see an excellent scholarly depiction of the Book of Mormon lands just ask me.

  • "if they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isa 8:20

  • @Cheshu1 ---yes and ..."He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."

  • @Cheshu ---

"Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) American black Leader

  • The Hellenistic doctrine of unity of substance, a God that was one being without body, parts, or passions, was not found or taught in early Christian doctrine until almost the fourth century, introduced by men to make Christian doctrine more reasonable in light of Greek philosophy (Neo-Platonism in particular), where the concept of a God with a body - such as that shown and revealed by Christ - was most objectionable. The Nicene creed does not properly reflect the plain teachings of the Bible.

  • Did Christ teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Do we find all the teachings of the Nicene Creed in the Bible? No. But don't take my word for it. Consider the teachings of some of the foremost non-LDS Protestant and Catholic religious scholars on this topic. For example, Harper's Bible Dictionary, compiled with the help of the Society of Biblical Literature, declares that "[t]he formal doctrine of the Trinity as it

    cont...

  • @LDS4Life71 was defined by the great church councils of the fourth and fifth centuries is not to be found in the New Testament" (in P. Achtemeier, ed., Harper's Bible Dictionary, Harper and Row, San Francisco, 1985, p. 1099, as cited by Stephen E. Robinson, Are Mormons Christians?, Bookcraft, Salt Lake City, 1991, p. 74).

  • Yes, we can read that there is one God and that the Father and the Son are one, but these simple statements hardly lead to the complex and abstract metaphysics of consubstantiality, or to an understanding that Christ is without body, parts, or passions. In my view, the doctrine of the Trinity is not a genuine summary of anything in the Bible, but rather is an extensive, philosophical elaboration that goes far beyond what is taught in the Bible.

  • In short, we reject much of the philosophical or metaphysical statements of the Trinitarian creeds. Now my desire is not to attack those who accept the doctrine of the Trinity, but to address the allegation that real Christians must accept Trinitarian philosophy and that those who don't must belong to a cult. Does rejecting the doctrine of the Trinity mean that we reject the God of the Bible? Absolutely not.

  • We believe that Christ literally resurrected and has a tangible body of both matter and spirit which He allowed his disciples to feel and see, proving that He was not spirit alone but had flesh and bone (Luke 24:36-43). We believe that the Father looks like the Son and that we are literally created in God's image (Gen. 1:26,27; Gen. 5:1-3).

  • We believe in God the Father, in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost, but we believe that they are three distinct Beings who are one in purpose and intent, perfectly united to comprise one Godhead, but not "consubstantial" (made of one essence or substance, not being physically distinct).

  • 4. Christ was raised not with a physical body but became a life giving spirit.

And there are other doctrines from their prophets, One is that the Holy Ghost is not a person but an active force like in star wars. They also say that their prophets are never to be questioned and are completely trust worthy.

Yup sorry to say it, but they are a cult. Not with standing Dr. Walter Martin discusses them in detail along with the Mormons and other cults in his book "The Kingdom of the Cults."

  • @LDS4life71---but its the doctrine of The jehovah's witnesses that is dangerous, for these are preaching four things that are not true .and have made 72 failed prophesies.

    1. Jesus was an the arch Angel Michael (an Angel cannot save us from our sins)

    2. There will be only 144000 saved going to heaven, the rest will remain on earth with Christ government fully established .

    3. Christ was crucified on a pole with one nail in both hands above his head--anything to change the cross.

  • @LDS4Life71---The facts about the cults speak for themselves.(should you go outside of the box--look up 12 marks of a cult online you will see) Even you would agree that the Jehovah's Witnesses is a cult, one of the largest in the US ..There is no other word for their organization, these say they are the only true Church of Christ on earth, all others is of the devil, they also say that they have the restored gospel.7.5 million members believe in a leader prophet and go about knocking on doors.

  • @LDS4Life71 There are 1.3 billion people on this planet who believe that the God of Moses, The God of Abraham was the Father, Acts 3:13 agrees with us, Could they all be wrong about who the God of the Bible was? Where did they get that idea from if not from Christ and the apostles and prophets? Did you know that the New Testament calls Christ the chief apostle of the faith? But wasnt his faith Jewish, being the messiah sent by the Lord God of Moses?see Acts 3 : 22 Christ was a prophet.

  • @LDS4Life71---Jesus was born of Mary, God was not born nor made by other gods and so forth. These are two different things here, Christ was a man on earth, annointed by God (being born of Holy Ghost made him divine like unto God. for Christ was "in the Father and the Father was in him"...which is why the Lord could say before Abraham was, I am. is because his connection to God was one and the same spirit. God is spirit Jesus said. and "a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see me have".

  • John 8:16-19:

    16. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

    17. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

    18. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

    19. Then they said unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.

  • We know the Father was in a different location than Christ while He was on earth, because Christ frequently spoke of having been sent from the Father and of returning to the Father. Examples: John 6:12; John 8:28,29,33; and John 20:17, where Christ explains to Mary that He has not yet ascended to His Father, but must now go there.

  • Joseph Smith saw with his own eyes that the Father and the Son are two distinct Personages, in whose physical image we are created. Here are comments on specific passages of the Bible confirming that precious truth

  • @LDS4Life71 ---no one ever heard of this supposed grove testamony until late in the 1830's (1838 to be sure..) and was first seen in print in 1842 was simply a later invention of Smith to convey his God-man theoric ideas across to his converts.

a story maker is always a suspect of his own story.

Joseph Smith said that the bible was not correct ( set about correcting it in a Joseph Smith bible retranslation ) and that the book of Mormon is the most correct book without error or mistranslation. The B of M has been edited many times.

  • The difference is Cheshu is under a false sense of security, and he doesn't understand that his false sense of security leads him here to speak out against the true christians of the true faith of Jesus Christ.

cheshu is part of "another gospel" according to Galatians 1:6-9

  • @LDS4Life71 ---Mormonism is ANOTHER gospel, this is why Mormonism it is on the TOP TEN list of cults in the US...think about it. The JW's and the World Chruch of Armstrong and the Way International and many others are also Anti-Christian but are themselves are living the lie. So I can understand you attitude, I have seen it many times before in these intrepid groups. The gospel is the same for all men, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, etc".is still true even today.

  • @Rypaul5217 Evangelicism is ANOTHER gospel. This is why you are here, because you can't leave us alone, and you are jealous of us.

  • @LDS4Life71 Mormonism is the one with ANOTHER Testament, ANOTHER Jesus, ANOTHER God ANOTHER Priesthood, ANOTHER Bible. but its founder was ANOTHER false prophet. SAME AS many OTHER CULTS who claim to be the RESTORED CHURCH thingy. These say "OH WE ARE THE TRUE CHURCH!" the Way International is one, "WE ARE GOD'S CHURCH ON EARTH" says the World Church of Armstrong, with its 12 Modern day Apostles, and JW's say "OH BUT WE ARE JEHOVAH's Kingdom on Earth", who also claim to have a leader Prophet.

  • @Rypaul5217 When other Christian label Latter-day Saints as "the Mormon Cult" to frighten people, they implicitly create their own special definitions, but nearly all of these special definitions would likewise condemn Christ and the early Christians as cultists.

  • April 1844 Joseph Smith declared, "God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! ....If you were to see him today, you would see him like a man in form-like yourselves in all the person, image, and very form as a man…”

The Bible declares, “…even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. (Psalms 90:2)

The Jews were first polytheistic then they shifted to henotheism then later into monotheism in the context of thier Babylonian captivity. In this CONTEXT it was the practice of the time in Babylon to have a community altar to put all the IDOLS which were "FORMED" (of wood/silver/gold) on this altar..Jehovah's idol also was put on this altar. Jehovah said that this should not be the case to put "BEFORE" HIM these FALSE gods.

That is the context. FALSE gods

  • TRINITY

Here is a scholarly proof of your corrupted, man-made Trinity. The Encyclopedia Americana: "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicaea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching." -- (1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.)

  • On the devil-inspired doctrine of the "Trinity"

The deity of Jesus Christ was decided upon by a vote . A few hundred church leaders gathered at Nicea in 325 AD. to vote on the matter. (the vote was loaded, because most of the opposing bishops were either KILLED or EXHILED or excluded!) Representation for the TRUTH about the Godhead was allowed by only a small fraction of those TRUE Christians...we lost the TRUTH then to the pagan trinity of man.

  • There was a breakdown from Within and from without the Original Church, the apostles couldn't replace the spots fast enough as the people around them were not ready to accept the truth in their day either and the Apostles were killed by wickedness.

We have read it numerous times and are posting topics here to help you as you read.
