Alot of 3gun competitions i shoot in don't allow the shooter to use those speed loaders. Work on and get fast at one shell at a time. Like Bennie Hill's side saddle reload, or Robbie Johnson's weak hand reload, might not be as fast, but that is real skill, and in competitions it separates the men from the boys.

Well in the video he can position the tube in an easily accessable front pouch, but to do that takes him 2 seconds, plus the time actually using the loader which is around a second. I can load 4 shells with my weak hand in 3 seconds. If it was a match that only required 4 shells, he would win, but most likely the match would require more ammunition, in which shotshell caddys are just as efficient.

Shooting a gun in a video game and firing an actual weapon are completely different things.

Being good at shooting games is fucking meaningless when it comes to actual gunfighting.

The fact is that while playing a video game your life is in NO danger(unless you're epileptic). You take risks that nobody in their right fuckin mind would take in reality. Your in game character dies about every five seconds only to come back to life.

In the real deal if you fuck up, you die for good.

It's not a stick, more of a tube really. Holds the shells, and you just push all into the magazine tube rather than doing it one at a time.

Typically, 3-gunner's use Benelli autoloaders with extended mags, ghost ring sights and speedloaders. Arredondo accessories and have all kinds of things to mod a shotgun for 3 gun competition.

I was using a Saiga 12 with 10 round mags, a friend was using a benelli with speed loaders, and we took first and second place with only 3 seconds differance both the Saiga and the speed loader Benelli are pretty equal.

In IPSC competition it can play a very large...ok HUGE part of your score.

This device allows you to reload 4 shells into your gun in mere seconds.

Mind you it also puts you into open division...which is why I do not use one.

That's because they didn't break in there magazines or Saiga. Or they need to replace there mag springs. I know the 10 round mag I have kept causing jams when I got it if I put more then 8 shells in it. After a while it fixed itself. I've know other people who change to a better springs that also fixes the problem.
