  • Judy what type of hair cut have you got? Is it all layered at the back?

  • @JustAnotherBeauty, thank you for the tip! i'll try that soon.

  • do you put the curlers on your hair cold and then turn on the machine? I don't get it...

  • Thankyou thankyou love it love you gorgeous xoxo

  • Please be my personal stylist? :] :D

  • oh my gosh, your shoe rack!

  • woah, i love your hair ! <3

  • LOLOLOL BENJI!!!!!!!!

  • WHAT are those pins called!?!?!?!

  • Hey Judy! I love this video I cant wait to try out this product. But I was wondering if you noticed anything from 0:28 seconds to 0:30 seconds. I noticed that there was a orb that flew by right on top of the hot rollers. Ive always watched this video since you put it out and its weird how only now I seen it. hehe

  • I don't know why, but my hair doesn't hold the curl at all even when I use the same hairspray you are using. Any suggestions?

  • just bought this today at target and tested it out! it works but man am i having trouble putting the pins to lock in place! i only made one good lock! the rest is falling apart but practice makes perfect, heard you really have to aim it at your scalp

  • can we look at ur shoe rack? :)

  • Cn u plz help me out plz i want to no how u secure the hot rollers with bobby pinz

  • ok some1 ,any1 just please tell me how thick in inches these need to be for soft curls

  • i don't understand, are the rollers hot when you put them in?

  • Judy, I bought these but had to return them! They work amazingly but after 10 minutes, my hair falls absolutely FLAT! I dont know why because whenever I curl my hair with an iron, my curled hair lasts til...even the next day. But with hot rollers, they cant even last more than 10 mins. Help :( I would love to try them again bc theyre so convenient, but bc they dont last..i dont want to repurchase knowing they dont work. any tips/suggestions? :(

  • @ohemjehnns I have the same problem. Did you find any tips to help ? I tried it twice now and it lasts 5 minutes. Like the hair is not even curly when I take it out. I let them get real hot and cool of good. Is there a setting prouct that will help ? I'd hate to return them, but might have to. HELP !

  • @knitnpaint i also have that problem! i've tried leaving the rollers heating longer, leaving them for a long time in my hair, and i've even tried lots of hair spray. i don't get curls either - just volume that quickly goes away.

  • Judy how may layers do u have?I have 2 long layers but you can't really tell..could u tell me plz!(: thanks

  • I have really thick black hair. Are 12 rollers enough?

  • how long do they take for them to heat up? cause everytime theres a weird smell like melting plastic :S

  • @xbumblejumble Mine does too. In the directions it says when the rollers are heated the button will turn white, and it will happen within minutes. But I heated them for a half hour and the button was still orange, so I just used them then. I don't like the smell either... :O

  • @acrossthealexis what?? so long.. mine takes 5 mins at max

  • Ok, I'm upset. I got these damn rollers but the pins DO NOT lock into place. It keeps rolling off. I'm just upset coz I picked it as a birthday gift and it doesn't work :(

  • @1neBHEE Your hair might be too fine. Try using all the smallest ones, that worked for me I was in the same position as you.

  • @1neBHEE when you roll your hair, make sure the bottom of the pin touches your scalp when you slide it around the roller. And make sure you push the pins thru the top of the curl (where the hair goes over the roller) and not where the hair goes under the roller.

  • @ElectronicStarburst beginning. oops!

  • THE BEHINNING SONG IS FROM THE BROADWAY! ... Right? lol (:

  • I think my hair is too straight it doesnt curl my hair, onlyl a tiny bit. Then after a few minutes they are all dead, not bouncy at all.

  • i wish i had your hair! x

  • TIP TO USE PINS!!!!: Try to put them in backwards....like pinning them from the back so that the 2 legs are facing forward, it should help!

  • how dyou keep your hair so fresh and healthy?

  • nice video! :) thank u

  • Thanks for this tutorial Judy! I bought these rollers because of this tutorial, and you make it seem so easy to put the rollers in! I really hate the pins. It's so hard for the rollers to stay in place :(

  • This helped alot! I got these for christmas and wasn't sure how to use them, thanks!

  • Can you do a video on differnt types of curls from hot rollers? My boyfriend got me $40 rollers from sallys and I have such thin hair my curls are gone in 20 mins after taking them out. Any ideas?

  • I LOVE your hurr& I got those same heat rollers for Christmas this year : )

  • do you think the curls will last longer with hot roller or a curling iron? because my hair are sooooo hard to hold the curls...

  • Hi Judy ! I've got the same rollers, I plug them in and after a few time it was making smoke and it smelled very weird like melted plastic... How long should I leave them plugged in before using them ? And the pins don't hold the rollers like yours... I suck !

  • is there any other way you can do that hair style with out rolllers ?

  • I bought these hair rollers and my mom asked me why I got them so I showed her your video..then she said to me, "you're so hype!" hahahaha

  • omg.... you make this look sooo easy.. either that or i just really suck at it lol

  • everytime i used hot rollers i always burn myself lol

  • Haha stop the video at 0:42

  • Haha stop it ajt

  • in terms or practicality,TIME ,ease of use would you say hot rollers or a wideish clampless hair curler is better? for different occaisons from school, work, going to christmas party weddings?

  • thye fall out all the time and my hair is relly thick and slkiy and theye still dont curl

  • same problems the dam pins!! an they burned me but it came out kinda good but i have side swooped bangs so idk how to do those help anyone maybe othe videos??

  • love the tutorial! going to test mine now :)

  • Your hair looks better now, than your other heatless curl hair video,

  • @sunshine143372 Because these aren't heatless..

  • I have the exact same rollers, lol ;) thank you for sharing

  • Thank you!

  • omg i can't wait to try this!!! so excited! thanks Judy!! You're the best!!

  • Wait a minute, how did they not burn your hands???

  • @3talentedgurls They don't get anywhere near as hot as a curling iron.

  • i would set your hair on big brush rollers

  • how long do the curls last?!

  • How do you get your hair so shiny?

  • I cannot get the pins to lock it into place..... they keep falling out!

  • Comment removed

  • @AustralianForGirl yeah me too!!

  • @AustralianForGirl you probably need to put in more hair..or pin it in another direction..

  • @AustralianForGirl Don't forget that you have 2 sizes for the pins too! (I took me like 5 times to realize that hahaha)

  • @AustralianForGirl That was my problem to in the beginning :p Are you putting it in 'upwards'? Maybe there is to little hair in it to hold, or your hair is to fine.

  • @MustachesDotCom I used a smaller roller. I was trying to roll my bangs with the large ones (I have the exact same set as her), and just needed to use a smaller one and they work perfect :)

  • @AustralianForGirl make sure the pin is touching ur scalp when you put it on :P

  • @AustralianForGirl Try putting a bonnet over them or scarf to keep them n place...

  • where i can buy this hot rollers by internet?

  • When i tried it I burned my face:(

  • When I tried it I burned my face:(

  • how do you get the clips to stay? i have the same exact one and it was really hard to make it stay put

  • @ohyesitskris they work best for me when you push the pins from the bottom to the top, with the flat side against your scalp

  • @allison1922 That's how I do it too...works best for me that way.

  • im dying for these. <3

  • u look like kourtney kardasian

  • I'm not really sure I understand, are they hot when your putting them in your hair, like you wait for them to heat up like a curling iron? if so,are they not then hot on your hands?

  • @KatrinaKingsOfLeon i believe you sit them in the case they come in, wait for them to get hot, and then put them into your hair.

  • LOVE IT

  • Pretty hair :)

  • which is more damaging, hot rollers or curling irons? xo

  • @ffionmariee iron

  • *pretty!!! lol!!

  • can i use hot rollers with hair extensions?

  • @yumi16100 Yes, as long as they're made of real hair. I found it was easier with mine (clip ins) to curl/style them and then clip them in afterwards.

It always looked a bit too Farrah Faucett for every day wear. This is a great tutorial, nice and simple. Only problem is... I'm so envious of your hair! :)

  • Hello, Judy! I just discovered your channel...you totally ROCK! I love the basic tutorials...(-: Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I'm i my thirties and have never done my hair. You're teaching me how! Hooray! Thanks again!

  • i love your makeup in this video!! <3

  • JUDY could i curl my part the same way?

  • JUDY thnl u so much finally someone i trust to teach me how to use these:)

  • My hair does not curl, haha...I've watched tutorial after tutorial of how to use a flat iron to curl my hair, but I always end up with dents and not curls. Maybe my hair is too long? I don't know but your hair always looks awesome :]

  • So gorgeous!!:P

  • Wooow Judy, you have the best hair!

  • Beautiful, I also use them, but sometimes the pins really hurt me.

  • This is so convenient!! and the curls look gorgeous! ... but my hair can't hold curls for more than 30mins... :(

  • This is really pretty!

  • My long thick hair doesn't hold big curls for longer than an hour even a 1 1/2in curling iron. should I put something in my hair before hand?

  • @dianamaesl wet hair, mousse, rollers, hooded dryer, setting spray/ hairspray

  • I wish my hair would work with hot rollers. I used them pageant night, and my hair went flat! It was so sad. I had straight hair by evening gown. No fun.

  • @marleeny12 1 3/4

  • Jusy, Please tell me where you found your shoe rack? It's huge. I need one like that. thanks so much

  • do u use a Mac?

  • I highly recommend buying the roller claws for hot rollers!! You can buy them at any drug store & it is so worth it to ensure your hot rollers stay on completely. Also , another trick to maintain the curl & to not miss pieces, do a light spray of hairspray as you do each section.

  • your hair is so beautiful!

  • have u used velcro rollers?

  • i'm glad to see that some of your hair pops out of the roller too! i thought i was grabbing too much hair or doing something wrong!

  • Thanks Judy!!!!! I requested this how to well I mentioned it atleast lol

  • I was trying to stay away from heat on my hair so i thought this was a good alternative. but i see you are using a heat protectant will my hair get heat damage from using these rollers on a daily basis/

  • Hey Judy,

What type of hair cut do you have?? I have long hair but it's super fine. I was thinking long layers....? I really like the cut you have!

  • Nice! Ive always wanted to try hot rollers!

  • Thanks Judy! will try

  • What would you do if you had extensions ... like clip ins, would you put the hair extensions in and put the rollers in? Or would you use like a curling iron on the extensions and put the rollers in your natural hair?

  • My hair is really thick and I need to use the large rollers. do the hot rollers come in packages of JUST the jumbo anywhere?

  • Does the conair jumbo rollers come with clips?

  • @anonamemiss Yes it does :)

  • Okay, So my hair is really thin, I do your hair tutorials and they turn out great! but then like.. 15 min later its flat again, I have used many differnt kinds of hair spray, Gel Spray... nothing seems to work any ideas of how to get it to stay!?!

  • @stienburg try it on day old or two or three day old hair, so that it will be oily and have more abiity to stay

  • Do the pins come with it ?

  • @2008erikagil Yes, they do :)

  • YAAAAAAAAAY!! hair tutorials are finally back!!!!!! :D

  • This tutorial was such good timing! I just got hot rollers and had no idea how to use them. Thanks so much, Judy! :)

  • nice hair tutorial. I was just wondering, if the hot rollers do heat up on theyr one? Do you need to do anything to heat them up? Sorry for the stupid question, but I never had any hot roller experience before. Do they come with the pins or do you have to buy them seperatly?

  • do those pins come with it?

  • I was always told that you roll the top back and everything else dowb toward the floor. I'll have to pull the rollers out of the closet, dust them off and try it this way. Thanks for another great video!

  • Hey Judy! I have the exact same rollers and I used them like 4 times because they didn't work for me maybe because of my hair type which is thin. I have a lot of hair it's just really silky and hard to curl I guess. Do you have any recommendations? Also I noticed the rollers stay up on top of your hair, where mine dont, they like to go all over the place and fall down, also they little pins leave marks in my hair and even if I leave the curlers for 30 min it's still not as curly as yours help:(

  • @gumis1891 im not judy but hopefully my tips help, since your hair is thin, you might need to have more texture in it, either take a shower and let it air dry (taking a shower at night and sleeping with wet hair will give you more texture) or use a texture spray, then put the rollers in, make sure no matter what you decide to do that your hair is dry when doing this, these curlers will not work on wet hair!!!

  • @gumis1891 as for making sure they stay in, you want to have the curve of the clips holding the rollers where the roller would normally roll off, this way instead of them rolling down, they roll down into the curve, if this doesnt make sense, a tip is that usually the end of the pins (colored tip) should be facing your scalp or face...hopes this helps...i dont usually get marks but if i get a weird bump i usually just use my curling iron to curl it if the roller isnt working how i want it to

  • @MsAKApolly Wow thaaank you soo much for the great tips!!!! :))) I will definitely try it out next time :)!!! thank you!!!!!!!!!
