I have the same sort of thing, except it runs a faster, except when in fights where it becomes super choppy. Maybe I should upgrade to windows 7, but I'm too lazy in case I need to move my files and stuff.

Is your Mini running the ION chipset or ION LE? Mine is ION LE. Just found out it is Windows XP exclusive and does not support DirectX 10 or 11. :-(

Well, technically it does support it, but the drivers disable support for it. It can be re-enabled on ION LE by hacking the full regular ION drivers to recognize the ION LE device ID.

@roejames12, The ION had DX10 disabled for Win XP only (XP has no support for DX10) If you have Windows 7, the ION will support DX10 and won't have the LE tag anymore.

false.. there is a fix floating around the web to make the ion le into the regular ion..

But you cannot just load win 7 and expect to have your machine magically turn into the full ion.. You have to follow many guides that are out there.

True, there is a fix. I have seen it and it works too.

I was saying, if you had XP and you upgraded to Vista, you could download the ION (not LE) drivers directly from NVIDIA's website, and the ION will be unlocked to use DX10. It's all in the drivers.

What operating system is your Mini 311 running when you filmed this video? I have Windows XP Home Edition on my Mini 311 with 3GB DDR3 1066 memory and a Intel Atom N280 cpu, but mine still seems to run pretty shitty. Any knowledge of how Windows 7 32-Bit would run on this Mini 311?

@icestorme, Windows XP with ION will not support more than 1GB of RAM.

Windows 7 will run flawlessly, and since you have 3GB of RAM, it will use that memory efficiently.

It's on the Mini 311 forums and on the internet in general. Microsoft put a limitation on netbooks: the netbooks can only have 1GB of RAM while running XP. That is also why Nvidia created the ION LE, because XP supports DX9 and under.

Its a license limitation (limited to selling), not a hardware limitation.

You can use also DX10 hardware on XP, because hardware will run on DX9 (thanks to retrocompatibility).

@icestorme I have windows 7 with 7200rpm hdd. ion not LE version. 2g ddr3 Ram. Intel atom n270 and it runs perfectley flaweles. Yes and do not turn the settings to high pres low and then go to advanced and then it will say texture quallityy medium and then switch it to low. Use gamebooster and try to overclock it i am not responsibble to the damege that overclocking does. game booster doesnt over clock it just frees ram.
