i like cheating (in SP) ....the fact that they got rid of all the cheats in this game is a big turn off for me. If i want to cheap that should be my choice...and CA takes that away from me. So i simply don't have enough fun with this game..........there goes my purchase of the newer one.

It was kind of lame when they announced Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai. Hopefully they have another project going on like Rome TW 2 or something else. Empire was also great, but Napoleon was too arcade. I didn´t like Shogun 2 because of it covering only Japan.

@aznboy3213 Guan Yu godess of mercy? I can't be too sure, I've read lots of japanese texts and Guan Yu haasn't came up. Guan Yu is directly linked to Chinese mythology, around the same ranks as Gautama Buddha and the Jade Emperor. Because the Japanese hold their culture very strong, I doubt they'd pay much attention to chinese deity's. So that may be why :)

Shogun 2 was announced 2 months after Napoleon TW. its been almost a year now since shogun 2 total war. If they are redesigning their engine, it takes more time to prepare to develop an announcement trailer. what ever it is, its going to be big and different.

A rome 2 game would use the same engine as S2TW so i dont think its R2

Sadly this game is extremly unbalanced in multiplayer, You can be new to it with a 3star general and suddenly find yourself fighting a 10star general, It doesn´t matter how much you try to out-manouver your opponent, You don´t stand a chance.

lol my house is like Feudal Japan right now. We have to babysit 2 cats while the owner is away, and its crazy, the owner's cats are trapped on the first floor because of my cat's hold on the upper stairwell. So far its sorta at a standstill, but my cat keeps pushing for the downstairs couch and the other two are trying to find a way upstairs at the same time (niether want to lose ground). EVERYONE HEAR ME. If you enjoy the total war series do you not agree that a new game should come out that is set in the future where instead of regions they had solar systems, space fleets instead of naval fleets they could create new units in battle that are as epic as they want. it would be a huge step forward for the series if they bring the same amount of quality to it. this game is frustrating as hell. Im in the west part (matsuda) of japain and the usegi clan took the whole journay by sea (in round 30) to ship a whole armee behind my line. Every nation in this game has the order to kill you the player. That journay mad absolutly no sense otherwhise. And if you make friends they get war declarations of the bigest clans and you have to withdraw and get a bad reputation and have no allies anymore. switch it to normal and you could play blind. nothig between
