I think it is out of devotion(Khushoo) of ALLAH SUBHAANAHU WA TAA ALA. Also I think it shows mercy in the character of the person.

Actually, this is Sheikh Ibrahim Jibreen, with an n. The one you are referring to is Sheikh Muhammad Jibreel. They are two different people.
