Very nicely done! Who's idea was it to use a compilation of Turok themes? I mean, I know my school only did classical-type music ;p It's a shame some of the types of instruments weren't as balanced in volume as some of the heavy brass ones, but overall it was fantastic!
This is beaultiful. I'm honestly shocked, this rendition is just superb. I can see the passion you all have for playing this song in each single note. Well done people.
You're telling me...THIRTEEN YEARS after this game came out...somebody took one of the best game soundtracks of all time and performed it SYMPHONICALLY?
I've always been fascinated by the Darren Mitchells' score to the game "Turok 2" I am surprised that he hasn't ventured into film scores given his obvious talent for composing. This rendition of some of the music featured on the soundtrack is very well pieced together, slightly sloppy at the start (in my opinion) but picks up quickly. I don't feel as though I am the only one who feels that some of the inspiration Darren recieved came from James Horners' "Aliens" soundtrack. Very impressive.
@danielhunter01 i so much agree i think darren who composed the turok 2 soundtrack was inspired by james horners aliens soundtrack and i so agree darren shouldve composed a movie soundtrack
holy shit i think i have gone to heaven hearing one of the very best n64 scores ever written with a full live orchestra is a turok fans dream come true
i love what they did with the river of souls track, the whole thing is really great, but i liked the one specifically. and i love the cricendo and the end
Thanks for your comments. We (BYSO) are all pleased and amazed at the reaction of the gaming community. I forwarded on the most recent comment from AMT6400 to the composer (who was actually at the concert and helped with some preparation).
Wow...amazing. I loved ever second of this!! Turok 2 is easily one of my favorite games of all time. I always felt the music was some the best I've ever heard in a game. Most games I know have just a single theme that they are attached to and the rest of the game's music is either forgettable or non-existent. This was beautiful and a true testament of this game's many accomplishments!

I suddenly can see the port again. And the water. When I jump in it I hear that woman saying to me: Get to the surface Turok!
Beautiful memories!

I wonder how many of those kids actually played or knew about the game. Still, a great performance nonetheless.

Port of Adia theme, turns into Death Marsh theme, followed by the River of Souls. Ends with Adia. I think.
Awesome stuff

How THE HELL did this escape my notice for over a month?!
Also, am I the only one who thinks there should be a live orchestration of the entire soundtrack?
