  • Way easier to grow than weed

  • bigger pots make bigger plants period.

  • She could have explained how to extract mescaline if she wanted to be really helpful.

  • 1:26 and 1:32= Ghost in between the black and beige pots.

  • Hamburger helper advertisement? Man, I hope google goes under soon!

  • @cheddar21 Their on their way.

  • How often do you think she plays with her cactus?

  • the title say 'edible'. are these edible plants? i heard that they are poisonous & may cause hallucinations.

  • So Where's the San Pedro cactus???

Not even a picture of one from a book let alone some live footage like one would expect. Sorry this video is lacking.

  • I'm growing 6 cacti right now. Hope they all grow to 15 ft.

  • gardening edible plants lol

  • i've learned more from reading comments then to listening to that woman. ehow needs to step up their game...

  • Jw, I have 2 pedros growing. A brighter green one, slightly scabbed up in the sun, and some dark green ones on the side of my house that are even blueish colored. The blue ones have larger star points (when chopped up it barely has any core because the whole shape is the star points) and the other one is much more plump and has shorter points.

They are both San Pedro (Trichocereus Pachonoi), but 2 different cacti from different places. Which one do you think is more potent?

  • Edible plants? Lmfao this stuffs illegal to eat... It causes hallusinations.

  • @v0lquete fag

  • I hope she knows that this plant contains mescalin, one of the strongest psychedelic chemicals.

  • lies ! u can grow it anywhere in any soils, in or outdoors !

  • this video doesnt provide that much info

it pretty much says its a cactus it likes hot weather (no shit!)

dont drowned in water (that's obvious)

    and theyre prickly (really?)

  • i would love to grow this haha

i could trip whenever i wanted

  • The cactus is a beatiful one. Not only is it wonderful itself but it contains a wonderful psychedelic. Psychedelics are mainly safe and non addictive so theres no worrying about overdosing on san pedro. Im sure the bigger problem will be all the plant material making you nauseas. "Over dosing" in psychedelics is just breaking outside the box to see what you have never seen before you wont die or get hurt as long as you stay in a good environment. :) happy growing & safe trippin

  • Who plays with a cactus?

  • They do better with a mixture of 50% perlite/50% soil mixture.

If you want massive pachanoi (san pedro) then dont let them get root bound and dont plant them to close to each other, this lady is an idiot.

  • Actually a large pot with great drainage is recommended, make sure you have good soil as well with great drainage.

They can to massive heights if grown in large containers, and from such a large pedro you can make tons of cuttings.

  • no, no i did make that up. no one would ever find such a plantation though.... ill do this one day, keep they species alive after WW3

  • theres a mythical tale of a man who spread hundreds of thousands of sanpedro seeds accross a square acre in the australian outback and nursed them for 2 years then left the country during the 1970's.

lol sorry i made that up.

    or did i...........?

  • I wonder if she know that the this cactus is psychoactive....

  • @RyanSC12 lol i was wondering the same thing too.. next thing you know everyone is gonna be blaming her for overdosing on san pedro lol =P

  • @RyanSC12 shes probably frying as i type this message haha

  • @RyanSC12 nope, shes from ehow they have the most basic information about anything they talk about.......

  • Cactus smoothies are a bad idea. Too much plant material.

    Lemon extraction is necessary.

  • @IndigoVagrant yea also mind the fact that its a drug lol.

  • you need about 2 pounds probably at least 2-3 feet more is better if you have leftovers your good but if its not enough then its a waste

  • i got three kilos coming (thanks bouncing bear) i think im gonna put it through a juicer and mix the pulp with oj . 2-3 lbs will work for me. i tried with a 12 inch cuttin and the results were minimal.

  • when you "play with it" lol

  • Depends on the mescaline content of the particular cutting; it can vary. If you're into chemistry, you could do an easy acid/base extraction and take it in pill form, otherwise it's supposed to be 8-12" for one "hit". A moderate to heavy trip would likely be about 2', and it also depends on your body weight. If you are on the lighter side you won't need as much as someone who is 200+ lbs (90+ kilos).

  • I wonder if she's eaten it before..

  • I have an 18" cutting sitting right next to me, desplined and ready for consumption... I'll eat it like corn on the cob and take swigs of OJ to down the bitter alkaloid taste. And then, after a 2-hour wait, start tripping balls. Enlightenment. Yes. This is an ancient entheogen, used by the people of the Andes. It's a religious experience, and for a government to outlaw it is religious discrimination. Just say no, kids. Say no to government.

  • @empbac very well said

  • @empbac you are my hero! heehee

  • @empbac Thats a shit load of cactus to eat, I dont see how you can eat that much. Why dont you boil it down?

  • LOL this is funny, and it's one of the most potent hallucinogenic plants in the world! forgot that part

  • LMAO

    it's true!

  • lol, I just get confused by the fact that it is legal to own/buy/sell/grow san pedro cactus and many ppl do just thinking it's a friendly house plant but at the same time it contains mescaline which definitely isn't legal.

  • How interesting...to have this presented in this way. When fascism is the rule, it's smart, but there is a tad of a risk that someone may get the wrong idea. Still, love the vid.

  • Good video, thanks for posting.

  • I'll definitely be reffering to this when I grow my own "landscaping cacti"

And subsequently juice them and make myself crazy.

  • She forgot to say they get you fuckered up too!
